There's a detective guy who looks like he'll be going after the main characters, but he doesn't seem like an L really. Hard to tell from one episode. Maybe he'll be like that police guy from Future Diary.

 

9 and 12, the main characters, are pretty eccentric tho.

Watched Tokyo Ghoul on ChiaAnime and at least there i saw no censoring. The anime will suffer from any kind of censorship since so much of it is rather extreme so really hope it wont be too common and that people get to watch the real deal

It's censored there too. See how the screen goes almost totally black at the beginning? There was a severed head there, I'm guessing.

 

I believe the inverted colors during the fight were also a form of censorship.

 

I'm assuming there won't be an uncensored version available until the Blu-ray/DVD release.  :(

Ah you mean that, didn't think of it as censorship since it's not uncommon at all to find some rather black/dark scenes to be so dark that it can be a pain to see anything but yeah i get what you mean

The censoring does add a whole layer of "meh" on top of what otherwise has been a rather solid anime and considering what else has been shown it just feel so very silly to have it intefere at this point

How long has the Kill la Kill dub been out? Well, Senketsu is pretty messed up. I like Ryuko's voice, mostly. Nonon needs to smoke more cigarettes. Mako's "get naked" is pretty good. Satsuki is ehh. The rest are ok. IMO.

I remember Death Note. Good anime series, but dark as hell. I almost had trouble finishing it because of how morbidly bleak it was. Still, I can't wait the live-action hollywood movie that's going to be made. Hope it's as good as the series was.

Yeah I don't understand the need for censorship, especially when here in the States we have the American Heroes network where you are bombarded with constant images/videos of soldiers and civilians being blown up, gunned down ect but noooo we can't have a violent anime series that is clearly ment for 17+ year old viewers without censorship. I don't know maybe I'm just over reacting I just don't like it when someone feels the need to try and restrict what I view.

So, trying to find a new show to watch (while slowly making my way through Zeta Gundam) I decided to give Fate/Zero a shot.

 

Initial impression after first episode: This can only end in tears for everyone.  I think I'll give it a shot.
