That I should be grateful that I'm not being attacked/ridiculed/etc. for having a different opinion? Because I think I already got that covered with the above quoted comment from Mr. House. Though I am always happy if I can discuss with people and agree on disagreeing like civilized people used to do.

 

There is a Pantheon of Holy Animes you should only gush over or stay silent about it. Any criticisms about those will be met with a kawaii Nonon gif and be ignored.

But a few Chi/Ki techniques and badass moves make every show awesome. I would watch a romantic anime or 'Black Lagoon' just once a year (or a few dozens of episodes at most). The rest must be divided with other genres.

So... there are romances? In that case, I think Kenji is soooo totally into me. Not that teacher, pfft, that's just an excuse to hang out with me xD I did the date with Elizabeth and died when she poured like a trillion yen into the fountain xD

 

 

The game has some great moments.  I made it about halfway, then had to stop. I really should finish it one of these days.  The problem is I don't know if I should do it in P3P or P3FES, because I kinda love playing as the FeMC, but its just not the same.

At least Jade Empire built a setting in which everyone in power seemed to be a martial artist. Most anime have swords be better than guns (and not just any sword: katanas in particular) just because even as they have a world order built around guns.

Of course there are romances but they've been clumsily implemented into 3 - It was eventually corrected in Persona 4 and female story of Persona 3 Portable. You need to go talk to the little girl by the shrine, bring her what she needs then rank her social link up to eventually unlike the Sun Arcana social as well. Best social of them all - Every social link you max will unlock a powerful Persona. I'll tell you more of that in the PM.

Martial art being the ultimate power kinda raises the question why anyone bother with anything else?

 

Why have guns or tanks or armies when a single hot-blooded youth can in a few years (often less) of training wipe the floor with all of them? Or when any Joe with training can blow up planets.

It's even worse when such bullet-dodging, super-speed, super-strength, super-durability feats are applied to SWORDSMEN or GUNMEN.
