So I've finished Legend of the Galactic Heroes. I've gushed all I've wanted about it. But for any of you who want to experience literature animated, I suggest you watch it. Without a doubt, the best anime I've seen beside Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

 

I haven't felt this empty in ages.

Like I said, a creatue that's claiming to do its thing for the benefit of everyone/everything by definition is capable of empathy.

 

I would argue against that.

 

Psychopaths can go decades without being treated because they know how people should act, how they should show emotions and empathy, even subconsciously.

 

QB doesn't have empathy, he knows it is something that humans value so he plays the part to make magical girl candidates more comfortable.

 

By the way, the next post I make in this thread is probably going to be an analysis of the conflicts in the ideologies of Kyubey vs. Homura vs. Madoka and the innocence conflict of Homura vs. Mami.

LOL that's putting it mildly, but I stand by what I said there would be plenty of people that are the exception. If a alien told me hey if you let me drain you're life energy it will save the entire universe I would probably agree to it. But if they robed me of that choice and did so without my permission then it's time to fight back.
