PMMM/Rebellion really did that with me. Even wrote a smaller novel about it a good amount of pages back and even today i still am not exactly sure how i feel about so many things i before thought was rock solid and that's one of the things that made me adore PMMM. It screwed with me and i liked it!

Also I do recommend rewtaching PMMM/Rebellion after you finish it, not right away since you will probably be recovering from all the feels. But rewatching the series will make you realize alot of stuff.

I would argue against that.
Psychopaths can go decades without being treated because they know how people should act, how they should show emotions and empathy, even subconsciously.
QB doesn't have empathy, he knows it is something that humans value so he plays the part to make magical girl candidates more comfortable.
By the way, the next post I make in this thread is probably going to be an analysis of the conflicts in the ideologies of Kyubey vs. Homura vs. Madoka and the innocence conflict of Homura vs. Mami.
Psychopaths simulate empathy.
But Kyubei isn't simulating to work for the greater good, or is it? So if They want to make the universe better for everyone, it means they can empathize. There is no point in simulating empathy and to, for no personal reason other than to simulate, work for a greater good. Unless of course They just like doing the extremist actions that would benefit said greater good and the latter is simply your excuse to go *drumroll please* undetected as the genocidal psychopath They may be.
Which is the point we come full circle and back to my original assessment that I'm inclined to believe They aren't doing it for the greater good, but to another means, like personal amusement via wiping out planets without anyone blaming you for it because greater good and all that.

Do you think that maybe your views on right and wrong are maybe just a bit too black and white? QB's logic is definitely to an extreme, and the extreme is never good, but you should be able to some extent see the merit in it's argument even if you disagree with it.
