Nothing beats this.

 

I love the sense of epic hero action justice that it gives off but at the same time it has a sense of dread going on by counting up to Freeza's first form's ki level.

 

And the overall ost is just great too.

Gohan's voice acting is also atrocious -- He has Luffy's voice now, which is kinda awful anyway, so yeah.. Then there's Chris Sabat -- Old Vegeta in the Saiyan & Namek Saga sounds incredibly dumb. I liked how it was originally Brian Drummond, then it shifted to Chris Sabat around the time the Androids showed up which was nice.

Gohan's voice is fine. Nothing wrong with it. Same can be said for Vegeta.

Kai is for newcomers who never watched the old DBZ. You can't miss what you've never heard or seen.

It really isn't. But your adoration for Kai is certainly noted -- And no, Kai's existence is for those peeps who've already watched the original show, and wanted a localization closer to the original. Kai jumps straight into the action which would seem alienating for newcomers.

They basically did what we were all thinking when it got to the Midget Saga. Get it out of the way quickly. But whole Snake Way thing, and de-tour to fake Namek, and other stuff is essentially there.

Well atleast they got ridd of the time wasters then. I remember watching an episode or 2 but never fully understood the whole hype around. Half the time it wasnt really funny tbh. More as if they just changed the dialogue.
