If things where not being skipped and she was not being shoehorned into events she was never part of in golden(Beach and fireworks) and it did not feel like This is Marie, love, LOVE HER!

 

Really, the first anime series had it's flaws but it was far more faithful and better then this. Which is disappointing because the first Persona 3 movie was pretty dam good for the months it covers and 2 looks amazing(which consist of alot of my fav events) Guess I just expected more or at least not feel like this was a waste of time and they could have picked another good Atlus game to adapt.

I always felt the Fate series was overhyped, and that it relies on some of the same characters too much. Saber, Lancer, and Gilgamesh have dominated most of the Servant space in the series (with Alexander being a breakout exception), while the main series is way too inclined to pander to its H-game roots. Yeah, I get that Shirou is supposed to be flawed and unreasonable- you don't need to make him a harem star as you go. You don't need to make him the primary love interest of the incest-route spin off AU either.

The Harem roots can be clearly felt and that is a BAD thing.

Also, the entire series suffers from an over-reliance on a few characters, to the point they are showing them in everywhere. I mean, half the servants were in the Prequel? What? They got no recollection of fighting before? Why the same? Why even a prequel?

At some points it feels as if the series is ripping itself off.

 

Also, is that Iliya becomes an Archer copy thing for reals?

Once i learned that the Golden anime would only be 12 episodes it screamed disaster from  miles away for me so i've just decided to not waste any time on it and just truck along with animes that i do know at least won't be that frustrating to watch

 

Now to an anime that is not anywhere near bad.. Clannad!

About halfway through the first season and it's been over-expectations so far with some rather excellent storylines and memorable characters and none of the main cast has actually been close to being detrimental to the anime. Even Sunohara has added with his kinda childish attitude and his refusal to accept defeat. Tomoya and Nagisa both are absolutely fan-effin-tastic at leading this entourage forward and it's strange when i find a protagonist that i actually enjoy watching. Lelouch from CG is another but normally i tend to not care about them. Side characters like Fuko  and the twins have been enjoyable to see and while i'm not done with Kotomi's arc yet it's already getting very feels worthy and really reaching for the stars.

Just watch the ordinary anime, it might have **** pacing, **** animation here and there, **** and/or writing for some of the original game's more deeper and complex characters but....... well, it's not Golden Animation, okay?!

 

Come to think of it -- Just play the game, seriously. There's really no need to get a dumbed down summarization of an otherwise excellent game on its own anyway.

Also, in regards to One Piece. There are too many arcs I feel would warrant a look through in the anime as opposed to the Manga.

You pretty much have too, or at least play the game then watch golden. Anyone who has no knowledge of P4 will be completely lost if they watch golden.

Well I've already played the game so I can probably understand the golden anime. It still sounds like a mess though.

Yu and his interactions with the cast is solid, the cast is solid with the screentime they have. The massive issues is Marie, non-exsistant pacing and lack of a story. SO the best thing this does? Awesome new Persona gifs in a better art style.

I think the guide they are talking about is a schedule for social links, which is a good thing. I use my own planner for P3 and 4 but P3 if you want to get all the social links in one go, mostly if you play as Minato) you need a very strict schedule(Minako you have alot more freedom because she has alot of night s-links)
