I'm dropping LOTGH. It's not a problem with the show itself it's just not my thing. Simply put if you like stuff like the witcher or game of thrones you will like this, if you can't stand stuff like that same as me don't bother with it.

 

Right time to watch something else perhaps a comedy.

- Witcher and GoT are full of jerk and wh*re characters, LOTGH isn't.

Well I may try it again in the future since the same thing happened with Gurren Lagann. I got bored came back to it later and it ended up being in my top 10.

I suppose its different for everyone, I was pretty much hooked from the word go. And on the other end of the spectrum I remember reading someone saying the show doesn't really take off until episode 25 (which I think is crazy by the way.)

 

Maybe its just the Yang Wenli fan club that dig the early episodes, I don't know. Reinhard's arc does take some time to develop.

It's a 110 episodes long space opera epic, and most of the action happens in the command room. So yeah, it can be considered slow.

 

TTGL has pacing issues in the first few episodes for sure. After episode 7 iirc it gets on full speed.

Will be finishing Angel Beats in the coming hour or so and it's been one really impressive journey! However slightly terrified on what the show might pull on me during the last two episodes especially after what it had in store in episode 10 which i've still not shaken off. Even before these two episodes however i must recommend people watching Angel Beats if you still have yet to do so.
