Seryu is not the cute/adorable crazy type like Nui and Esdeath. She is just plain crazy.

I have zero knowledge of the manga, but Esdeath seems like a major badass...does she live up the hype the anime is giving her? Cause goddamn, I get chills when she comes on screen.

She's more badass in the anime because of two reasons alone.

 

She has a voice and movement.

 

Nothing beyond that, the anime has been extremely faithful to the manga so far, throwing in little extras like Seryu being with the Ogre in episode 2.

Pfft! After a combination of Martin and a bunch of other maniacs I am immune to such things! My heart is of steel!

 

I didn't get teary eyed at today's Akame ga Kill (Or at any point in the manga), I didn't get teary eyed at Angel Beats, and Katawa Shoujo only made me pause it for a bit so I could recompose myself.

 

There is anti-feels where my metaphorical heart should be!

 

I will gladly watch Clannad and take that challenge.

Since i got no ongoing animes taking place in the coming 2-3 days i should get quite bit into After Story and maybe encounter some emotional trauma. The fact that i'm getting closer to it makes me rather nervous. Angel Beats did get some feels and Clannad has been true to what's been said about it so far.. if this is also true then oh my!

 

Seryu makes Esdeath and Nui look sane.

Seryu really does make ANYONE look completely sane and well adjusted. She completely smash Nui in her own game. As the resident crazy i'm both in awe and terrified of Seryu. Nui went crazy to the max after losing her arms.. Seryu lost not only her arms but then also the guns on them. Nui only managed to lose something there once.

Not to mention the cheerful face and teary eyes Seryu had in the end.. the crazy in that one is quite unmatched
