Yes.
But watch it from the start.

The best reason to watch Hunter X Hunter IMO is for the Yorknew City arc which isn't until much later in the series. Although, I thought the earlier stuff was interesting and it shows you the unique overall style of the author and such. <small spoiler> For instance, one of the character's special abilities is forcing high interest loans onto risky debtors. Yes, literally that.
But yeah Kurapika... one of the best female characters in shonen.

Yes he is one of the better female characters in shonen.
A director of the first anime called him a tragic heroine.
If I'm not mistaken they even joke about it in the series somewhere, anyway more androgynous-ish protagonists please Japan.
Just started watching Fate/Zero so, obviously...

I'm halfway through the second season and you got a lot of awesome episodes ahead of you. So awesome and all so very pretty!

This was the best scene so far but I'm only two episodes in. It shows Kiritsugu has a heart and his daughter's just adorable. If anything should happen to them, I'll be mighty pissed. ![]()
I'm still waiting for the remake of fate/stay night to start before watching fate/zero it sounds really good though.
The show is absolutely amazing. Looks absolutely gorgeous and I really liked a bunch of the characters.I'm still waiting for the remake of fate/stay night to start before watching fate/zero it sounds really good though.
Well the remake is soon so I should start soon as well.
Me learning something I probably shouldn't have:

Yes, that's from SAO and I should really review it now that I'm done with it. The problem is I can easily sum it up in, "it should've ended in episode 14." ![]()

That is the general consensus and the warning I give to everyone wanting to watch it.

Been saying that since i watched it myself. SAO for me are the 14 first episodes. The ones after it.. nah
Season 2 is apparently decent I haven't really got round to it yet though.
Then that means you guys are in a perfect position to tell me whether SAO II is even worth watching.
Well i'm planning to catch up on it when i'm done with aoki hagane no arpeggio (the anime I always spell wrong) which i'm definitely going to do a review on so I will tell you then.
From what I've read they decided to return to basics and re-introduce the "real death state" with a new character. It doesn't bode particularly well when a show decides to repeat itself but it can't be any worse than SAO 1.5.

I'm all up to speed with the current season and i'm right now feeling it's not as good as the first 14 episodes but miles better than the rest. So far they've done the source material justice
It's a shame because the light novels are fantastic, so it sucks that a anime with so much potential is average to horrible.
I prefer Log horizon to sword art online tbh.

"Added to queue."
Good. It's worth it.

Season 2 is soon and I can't wait.

Read through a few pages just to see Bro's post on Clannad. Yes, it hurts, it hurts tons. But bro, you better carry on, IT IS WORTH IT.
Now, as for my absence. Geth and I have ventured to Australia to fight giant spiders on the back of Kangaroos.
...
Nah. It was just me.
Anyway, since I've been there I've watched two WHOLE animes.
Bakuman season 1 and Toradora.
It's nice seeing a manga you love animated and turned into something better. Bakuman adds bits and pieces in the anime, fleshing out the romantic elements and female characters to create a better experience all-round.
Toradora is a nice little romance anime. Nothing special, but the chemistry between the 'main ship' is brilliant.
Now, this is for LOTGH heroes.
Overture to a New Battle/War/Whatever is just a remake of episode 1 but it's done differently. The logic behind Reinhard's charge is explained fully (being that the mobility of his fleet allowed him to move quicker to each individual fleet before they could make their flank. I think people forget the element of SPACE. Yes, it's huge. It was estimated 4 hours before Reinhard could reach the 6th fleet.)
Sea of Stars is another prequel where Yang and Reinhard had their first encounter. There's more jealously and stupidity from the nobles but the two battles are brilliant. Especially the first where Attenborough and Yang totally troll the ship's incompetent commander and in the last battle too. Seriously, those two films are worth watching JUST for Yang and Attenborough.
As for Golden Wings...
I don't know how I feel about it. It doesn't feel like a LoTGH anime and there is a heresy to 40K levels within that just...
I can't.
But I must!
Yang Wenli's character design and VA are totally different.
The horror...
Log Horizon was a really good watch and something that i'd recommend a long time before i'd recommend SAO. It's just in my opinion a much better show and it got just more stuff going for it. Season 2 is bound to be good!
I hope so with the massive cliffhanger we got left with.
