Starting to near the point with Fate/Zero where there're not much else that i can do but bow and applause it. By now it's become so clear that when i dig for "complaints" about it i'm going far into nitpicking that it would be nothing but incredibly silly in a bad way to even bothered by them. Fate/Zero so far hasn't been perfect but it's gotten close enough that the faults it may cause are very few and incredibly far between. Hope that the 5 episodes left don't do anything to ruin this rather excellent image i got of it now. I'm even missing some of the most disturbing characters that i've ever seen and one of them is disturbing enough to haunt nightmares. It's a pain to know it will soon be over but it's so far been a journey!

The main issue with Fate/Zero is the pacing. The first half is great, but it takes so long that the last half races through in various ways.

On this i can agree, the pacing while good hasn't been the best of the best. While all episodes have been great a few things that happened very early in the second half could've just aswell happened towards the end of the first without ruining anything at all. A character or two could've had the conclusion of their arc and such a bit earlier and let the second half breath a bit more every now and then.

Decided to actually read the One Piece manga a bit since I'm intrigued by the Dressrosa Arc, and I like Doflamingo as a villain -- I then encountered a few surprises that was awesome, but most of all one part that made me laugh. Mingo decides to turn his entire island into one big battle royale-bounty-hunting-game, placing a bounty on the top offenders whose opposed and ruined his plan. It's safe to say that the top offender came off as surprising, and yet not really, but it certainly was funny reading the reaction xD

This weeks Akame Ga Kill had a very solid episode. It was not in anyway possible for it to beat last weeks exceptional display but it did a good enough job at making for a great watch. It dealt with the last weeks event but also made it very clear that things are moving in the world and that the characters in the show can't breath and have new things to deal with and this one involves a certain crazy but absolutely amazing Esdeath and she got plenty of screentime this episode which i approve of greatly! Really liking how the protagonist of the show has gotten a lot of development so far and this week added a lot more to it. He's actually not that bad at all and even shown some interesting traits by now. Looking forward to next weeks episode after this weeks less tense episode which was needed.

I think as some sort of moving forward process i've instantly accepted Ushio as the most adorable thing in the universe and decided to adore her just as much as i did with Nagisa because i got to adore someone and it still hurts after Nagisa's death. Almost sharing how Tomoya feel about it all. With no Nagisa around everything just feel a bit off and it's very clear now just how much of a presence Nagisa had. But i will persevere and i still got Tomoya and now Ushio, maybe things can be less painful in the end.

It's next up i'll imagine since there are not many episodes left and even less with 22 being the real last one. Considering putting Clannad as the sole focus of tomorrows anime session since i can easily reach 22 and then watch the extra plus the Kyou OVA at a later point. 

 

It was truly a dark time without my bro here, the darkness was grim and the gushing was low. With bro here things are now well again!
