Well, Rock is just there to take the audiance on a rollercoaster of over the top crazy action done by the side characters. The show would be better without the poorly executed pondering on human nature and the horrible world's effects on a newcomer. But hey, fanservice and explosions.

True. I just want to watch a well oiled team based Anime where you have a Sniper in the distance covering the rest of the team while they do a tactical insertion with cool action sequences.

Darker than Black has a few sniper moments and cool action. Dunno why you're so caught up on seeing snipers specifically. 

 

Because I received training in it, so I like to watch it in action. Too many shows focus on CQC and swords.

The action is more down to earth and less flashy (for a mech anime), but still cool. If you don't mind the cringeworthy character drama, then go for it.

 

However, Fumoffu! is a spinoff-like comedy season between Season 1 and 2. And it's ****** hillarious.

I don't watch higschool slice of life (only parodies or mixed genres), no worries there.

 

But the moment you diss FMAB or LotGH is when House and I and the rest of the Alliance will flash mob you dressed as Colonel Mustang and Yang Wenli
