My friend, I live only 2 blocks away from the red light district in Amsterdam. I've seen more prostitutes in my life than I personally like to admit (though I'm glad to say I never had sex with a prostitute). I can assure you that prostitutes do not look or dress like Nico Robin in that picture.

Though they do dress like that in southern europe, when they're "hitchhiking" or "taking a walk" near highways out of cities such as Nice.

Ah yes, the infamous escort girls. They come in all sizes and sorts. Prostitutes like them are illegal and therefor do not follow a specific dress code. They can wear whatever the hell they want.

Legal prostitutes in The Netherlands however are always behind windows and only wear lingerie (e.g. a bra and a g-string). Why would they wear anything more than that if they're going to take it off anyway?

Anyways, I've been to Amsterdam myself, so I can confirm your talks about that (though not better than you - I have never used those types of services), but you do need to acknowledge that most prostitutes are in fact the "streetwise" kind. Mostly illegal in Europe, yes, yet very much widespread nontheless.

Don't misunderstand me. I've never used the service of a prostitute either. As long as I'm still young and good looking I have no need to pay for sex.  Besides, I have a girlfriend right now anyway, but that's besides the point.

And I dunno if -most- prostitutes are the streetwise kind. I've never seen many of those in The Netherlands. Maybe a few in Utrecht, but that's it.

Yeah you understand. Both you and I are not from northwest Europe, our prostitutes like to dress as tacky as they can, so it's easy for us to spot them.

I think if Robin had at least real pants I would be fine with her "outfit".

X? Is there a year also in that title or no?

The American version was retitled X/1999 because of some comic called X over here.

@The Mad Hanar Almost all Clamp series do have endings, just not X and Clover(because of the magazine it was in ended).

Last chapter of X was back in 2005 and it started in 1992. For Clover it was 1997 to 1999.

It did have a movie, so yeah you did see it. It has good animation but the plot and characters sucked in it.

As for the show, it's okay. Not the ended I wanted but at least it's something.
