Caught up with Akame ga Kill! It is a good anime. Solid animations, fun humor and great characters. I do like they have deaths in the series, but I kinda fear they might get all too frequent, just in the name of adding drama.
I do hate when I start watching Anime that have just started. Now I have to wait every week for a new episode...

So in maga I was watching my fav AoT scenes and god there are some plenty of epic moments.
1. Eren's Speech in episode 13 still gives me goosebumps, I can freaking quote that sh*t in Japanese xD everybody's reaction after it is brilliant to. It's quite an emotional moment seeing that nothing like that has ever happened before.
2. Armin's own salute in episode 10 when he attempts to talk down that idiot. That plus the music... fuuuuaaark. Everytime I see Armin develop the more I love him. He really his AoT's Samwise Tarly/Gamgee
3. The final part of episode one gives me goosebumps. It's just an epic intro to the series and that moooossiiiic! xD Can't get enough AoT ost.

Lots of Eren stuff up there. Even though I make fun of him I actually DO like him as a character. Sure he shouts a lot but he gets sh*t done and has balls. I like balls. In the sense that he won't run away from stuff even if it might get him killed. It might be stupid, but it's the stupid I can respect.
Though right now in the manga he's pretty useless, not in a bad way, but I hope they'll get things resolved for him. At least it gives the spotlight on others like Jean and Armin.

What I liked about Eren was his determination (also could be referred to as insanity), the fact that he believe's the titans can be defeated when any logical person accepts the current situation as hopeless and there are really not wrong in doing so. As the defeats mounted he lost that edge which I was a little disappointed with, he needs to get that crazy back. The titans will never be defeated unless people believe it to be possible.

I also like that the 'solution' to winning this war isn't really an all out win for humanity. They still need to fight to the bitter end, EVEN with their trump card. It's still a struggle, albeit, made a tiny bit easier.
And yeah, Eren's determination/insanity/stupidity/vanity really is what everyone needed. Though I doubt that determination could do much. He basically got f*cked because of it. Still, complacency is what screwed them all over to begin with. After 100years of peace I don't blame them, but if everybody thought like Eren and strived towards something, 'five years ago' might have never happened or at least dealt with properly.
While I find Eren kinda bland he does have a lot of room to grow as a character. I am interested to see how he develops.
