IT'S A GUNDAM!
So yeah. Evangelion.
It was worth the watch. I'm not going to lie. It's not my most favourite thing evaaaa but it was a really great watch. Though BOTH endings lacked that something to make it a complete experience.
The psychological elements are really what made this for me since it was so damned interesting from start to finish. The setting was also great until they decided to leave a lot of important info out (like Lillith and Adam having two different purposes/eggs whatever.)
So yeah, it really is something an anime fan should watch one.
I'm gonna let it all sink in now as I talk to Geth about donuts.
I just need to wrap my head around what happened in the physical world. Rei's transformation, the planet, the people, what the hell happened. That's what confuses me.
I must be the only one who understood the series' ending more than the movie's.
So that's me done with Evangelion until the final Rebuild movie comes up. I must admit I'm gonna miss it loads because it is an experience worth going through.
However, now for something lighter...
Wish I had Gintama 
You know what's reaaaaalllly tempting.
Either HxH or Fairy Tail.
But I cba with another long-ass series.

I'd say neither ending was meant to feel "complete" per se. Perhaps Anno intentionally left both endings' aftermath open to multiple interpretations. Whether that's a good thing or bad heads into subjective territory.Though BOTH endings lacked that something to make it a complete experience.

I'll try not to whenever you stop arbitrarily throwing the concept of rape around when you have no idea what you're talking about. 
I can't promise anything though -- On the contrary, I don't necessarily defend anything as much as I try to interpret and understand the meaning instead of coming with presumptous and false accusations.
The truth is that nothing is a coincidence, in terms of animation or cinema, nothing is placed in any form of production with no meaning or larger thoughts put into it.
Usually though, there are artists who aren't very adept at expressing themselves or providing core subtext to their narrative, and instead focus on head-on and dull exposition. In short, there's always good or bad.
I'll probably write what I feel about EoE some time soon.
