In other news...
I just finished JoJo...
This is what happens when I become impatient. Now I have to wait 'till January for the next half >< This sucks, really sucks. And it's your fault! Yes, people keep on posting JoJo this and JoJo THAT! Might as well send a horny virgin to a brothel with 200 quid and expect him to come out clean.
Final verdict? (Assume they're all fantastic btw.)
Openings 2 > 1 > 3
Anime 3 > 2 > 1
JoJos Joseph > Jotaro > Jonathan.
Cast 3 > 2 > 1
And more anime needs to be like JoJo. Why? Because JoJo isn't afraid to go outside Japan and explore different parts of the world and their cultures.

Sakurasou no Pet shares either the writer or animation company that Toradora! had, I forget which. I'll go check really quick.
Edit: They both have the same screenwriter, Mari Okada.

I just finished Spice and Wolf this morning, I kept putting it off because I didn't want it to end. I am so sad that it is over.
The best advice that I can give to you going in without spoiling things is that to expect more comedy than romance.

Popping up to say I personally love Rose of Versailles muchly. Then again Lady Oscar's escapades were a huge influence for Revolutionary Girl Utena aaaaand I think I've brought it up enough for everyone to know it's one of my all-time favorites. 
That being said, as far as Rose of Versailles is concerned, I've only ever read the manga and haven't checked out any of the anime adaptations or movies, so I can't give you opinions there...
