[Some Geth]

Gekiranger was an awesome Sentai. I don't recall if we have ever had a discussion about it here though.

I see that Berserk has been Mentioned. I love that Manga and the Anime series they did..I have also heard nothing but good things about the new movies they are doing.

The latest Manga/anime I have gotten into is Pandora Hearts. Mainly I enjoy the references to Wonderland.

What pisses me off about most shonen shows is hte stupidly predictable fight sequences.

The good guy gets mauled by a clearly superior opponent, who for one reason or anotehr doesn't finnish him off, but drags the figt along forever, as our hero tanks hits that should have killed him, getrs up only to get hit by another hit, and so on and so on.
Than at one point our hero goes super-sayan and 1-hit KO's the enemy...because now his PwR LVL is OVER 9000.
But we cna't have the enemy show the same persistance and tanacity and gets up, right?

BOOORING. Stupid. Retarded. (in 99% of all cases)

I prefer fights of equals, where blows are given and taken.

There are tons of different types of fights in battle manga/anime.

Oh and the fight you are talking about, Goku vs Freeza right? Freeza did not get 1-hit KOed when Goku went SSJ, and Freeza did show the same "persistence and tenacity" and got up again.

Freeza only lost the fight because he got carried away and lost his temper after Goku was "done" with the fight.

Nothing to do with power levels.

I also hate when fights dragon on. I don't mind when a story is told as the fight goes on.. but when it takes 3 + episodes for a fight to finish thats just ridculous..

Usually, yes. Sometimes they do pull it off.

One fight that springs to mind is Phoenix Ikki vs. Virgo Shaka.
3 episodes, but it's considered one of the bet fights in SS, even if it does drag a bit.

 Hey guys.   Its been a while since I came here.  How are the regulars doing this week?  
But I was stopping by this topic today and have a quick confession to make. My previous confession was about cute pink krogans. 

Well this is anime now.  And I admit that long time ago... I watched Bible Black.. and I enjoyed it. LOL...:alien:
Now if you know what that is, then you know its not for kids.  But I'm sure I mentioned in past pages I'm in my 20's.  
Others here may know about the series too... Hmm.  I hope the mention of this hentai doesn't derail this topic!


Well gotta go.  I've been occupied by other games and life so I haven't used bsn much.  Oh when RE6 comes out, I'll make a "official" topic for that over here then,  Can't wait for that game!
