Frankly, It's not that I hate moe that much, it just that it's every bit as redicolous as ultra-roided invincible men. Actually more. Moe characters act and look far too childish and timid.
I for one desire more normal character, rather than fetish parades.
Moe has it's place as do all things (Nichijou, Azumaga Daioh, etc...) but it's showed way too freqeuently into way too many places

But I like moe..... When it comes to fan service ehhh it differs if it's a silly crazy over the top anime I'm fine with it. If it wants to be taken seriously then no. I can not take you seriously when you flash boobs in my face every 5 mins.
Seriously though I do have my problems with anime. The amount of just plain poor fanservice, moe and harem animes is insane and high school is over used to death, and characters that exist entirely cuz boobs. To say nothing of the whole loli and incest stuff. Here is the thing though that's why this thread, reviews and hell even my anime list exists. So you can find the things you want to watch and ignore the crap. Just because you or I or whoever doesn't enjoy something doesn't mean everyone who likes it is wrong. (I couldn't get into LOTGH and found attack on titan predictable but lots of people love it)
Look at me I love moe stuff (Neptunia, Madoka) some fanservicey stuff (Neptunia again no game no life) and even a Harem (date a live) yet I plan on watching other stuff to Gintama may come after chuu2 I also plan on watching hunterXhunter at some point too.
Everything has it's place and as with all things a healthy balance is best.

While I quite liked Aldnoah it's probably best if you wait for the second season in January aswell. It might be awesome or it might suck really bad. So much are up in the air and depending on how things turn out the quality might be very different. If I know my bro he already got a few billion shows to watch

I tend to repeat myself on certain points too when my brain gets especially gushy over something which works in private chat with Ani since she tends to obsess over the same things. I'd imagine if you took the time we've spent going on about how amazing the caught you scene in TRS is and added that up it would surpass how much time some people have spent on the entire PMMM series as a whole
