Strike Witches could have been good in some concepts, but due to blatant 14-17 year old ass shots and constantly trying to give it fanservice every episode, and incredibly Mary Sue protagonist, it kinda falls flat on it's face.

I just finished the first episode, I enjoyed it, it reminds me a little of Sakurasou no Pet. I already know that I am in for a treat with this. I'd be watching the second one right now if my laptop didn't have severe problems with overheating.

Nah. But yeah, as a character she did grow. It's one thing Gurren Lagann did well, it didn't just abandon its characters because of its... well... over-the-top (?) take on the Mecha genre.

 

Though I didn't like her sudden 'boom kiss done' with that one dude who's name I can't remember but tried to be Kamina waaay to hard.

She's terrible.

 

Don't make fun of Chiyo. She's had a hard life. Think about it, the man she loves toys with her emotions, manipulating her to do his bidding whilst masterfully dancing around his budding feelings for her so as not to have them interfere with his schemes. Her constant depression represses her otherwise sporadic personality. Maybe. But Chiyo a cute so pls no bully.

 

 

@Vroom Vroom: Since you like Toradora! and Sakurasou, you shuold try Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou. It's similar to those two but more ligth hearted.
