Yeah, Toradora's end is... unconventional. But still sweet. It sort of doesn't make sense when considering motive, because unless you're a fictional character, you wouldn't do that.

 

But you'll like it, dw I'm being ambiguous because I don't want to spoil anything.

Taiga left to make good with both her parents and came back to be with Ryuuji. So, basically Taiga's motive was to pave the way for them to get married hassle free and have a happy life. The reason she didn't tell him before leaving was because she thought/knew that Ryuuji would probably stop her or go with her which would hurt his schooling. I was extremely happy that the anime didn't wuss out leaving things wide open in terms of who ended up with who.

 That's my thoughts on it at least. 

 

P.S. I've added Legend of the Galactic Heroes to my list.

Don't make fun of Chiyo. She's had a hard life. Think about it, the man she loves toys with her emotions, manipulating her to do his bidding whilst masterfully dancing around his budding feelings for her so as not to have them interfere with his schemes. Her constant depression represses her otherwise sporadic personality. Maybe. But Chiyo a cute so pls no bully.

 

 

@Vroom Vroom: Since you like Toradora! and Sakurasou, you shuold try Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou. It's similar to those two but more ligth hearted.

Well, at least you aren't likely to run out of stuff to watch. I must admit that I have come to find anime to be far more enjoyable than anything on my tv. I need to get into manga like Simfam said, I also need to track down those Spice and Wolf novels, although I do like my headcanon on how it ended.

Berserk is pretty interesting, even though I had a radically different opinion the second time watching it is undeniably unique and anyone who hasn't seen it will be in for a ride of sorts.

 

It is pretty creaky and old animation wise at this point, but that just really doesn't matter that much IMO.
