What I find hilarious is how even the demons are terrified of Gatts. He's willing to do things that even they think are inhuman.
Gatts is so freaking badass that even legitimate monsters are scared shitless of him and for good reason. Zodd is like one of the only ones who will even willingly fight him.

Berserk will never end unfortunately. It's just too epic in scope for the author to finish in his life time X3 Plus it's not unusual having to wait entire YEARS between chapters.
If I could just get Chris to watch all my favorite series, and then write up posts for me then my life would be so much simpler.
I could work as a temporary substitute.
Although, I need to fix up the Brain to English translator, it's running like a Model T at the bottom of the Atlantic right now. That and it took a bit out of me reviewing Ar Tonelico in the JRPG thread.

Can't really blame you to be perfectly honest. It has moments that make even the Red Wedding look tame. For me I was already too invested in the story by the time I reached the "holy ****** ****! 
" parts.
Berserk has an amazing story, but it is one of the most disturbing pieces of work I have experienced too.
The story sets out to display the worst of humanity (which it succeeds at) but also the best aspects of it too. Berserk has some genuinely beautiful and profound moments that are hard to explain to someone who hasn't read the manga, moments in which a character can make you cry without even having to say anything.

I'm also sparking like a broken Tesla coil trying to think Madoka series and Rebellion.
Rebellion especially so I can email it to my brother with a warning.

Well, the breaks don't usually last entire years, although it has gone well over a year before. 2013 only had 1 chapter release at the start of the year and then the next chapter wasn't until April of 2014. Otherwise you can expect maybe 3-6 chapters a year but it seems to be anyone guess.
