Esdeath is god-tier character design, I'm not sure about the rest of the anime though TBH.

Lies and slander. Endless 8 is the best part of Haruhi. Picking out every tiny change in dialog and wardrobe and waiting for that finally moment for any new development that almost never comes is just an experience. It is Art. When was the last time you watched an anime and thought, "I can't believe they actually got me to watch 8 episodes of almost the exact same thing? In both languages?" (ok, even I'm not that tuff)

But really, it's more trollish than awful. The idea itself is neat and the individual episodes aren't bad. It's how exhaustively Kyoani decided to drive that idea into the ground that makes it so notorious.

Though I have it on good authority that I possess biased fanboy opinions about the series.

I still liked it.

Watching all 8 also makes Disappearance better, and Disappearance is the best part of Haruhi.

So don't listen to him and just watch all 8 Paragon Gabriel. There's a chance you might possibly not entirely regret it.

It's all subjective.

I find that it just goes on for too long.

I see what they were going for, and what it means for Nagato. But it feels like filler.

That's just how I see it.

Still love me some Haruhi and its many spin-offs though.

Frankly he's a cold-blooded murder and a d***. Killing a wounded girl and a guy in a wheelchair (both completely unnecessary at that point)..REALLY?

I kind of agree, like seriously if you want young characters why not 22 or 24 or 26? They're still young, but you are also safely beyond this barely high school situation that seems so common. 18/19 is generally pretty good also.

Well, beyond the fact that they both could return to the Holy Grail War because of their command seals, which he points out to Saber if I remember right. I don't think he would deny his status as either a cold-blooded murder or a d***, but that's kinda the point. He wants this to be the last ever time that anyone has to be that despicable ever again.

You can of course try to whitewash every single crime or sin, but the point stands - it was unnecessary. The guy (and girl) were OUT OF THE RUNNING.

And even if they could somehow get back in (how), he could have used the same geas scroll with just a  different condition (abandon the war for the Grail) or multiple conditions.

He literally had the man on the ropes and balackmailed him by thretening to kill a injured girl in front of him. he then order him to kill Lancer (a very cool guy) and then after the other guy kept his part of the bargain, killed him and the poor, defenceless girl. So yes.

Batou is probably my favorite character so far in the show. His sense of humor and the scenes he end up in really make him stand out among the rest!
