Almost done with the first season of Chihayafuru and can really only continue to praise it since it keep moving along in the right direction with more and more things by each episode that after episode 21 which is the last one that I've watched not many issues at all exist. Just as amazed now as before at seeing Chihaya develop her karuta by struggling and breaking through to only struggle more and then learn something new. Her karuta has changed immensely over the last 10 episodes alone!

 

Ghost In the Shell has had 4 rather solid episodes that has not been about the Laughing man case so it seems to be more about what kind of issue they deal with that matter. The last two episodes were very Batou heavy which might make me appreciate them more than I'd do otherwise!

I just went to check it out.

 

The animation is cool, different, but cool.

 

And by that I mean I just skipped to all the sex scenes.

Are you planning on watching season 2 right away? I really liked season 1 a whole lot, but season 2 is what cemented it in my top 5 anime's list.

Edit: aslo, It's great how you get to see everyone progress at their own rate. Some grow faster then others, and the ways they grow is always unique to that person. I like how in season 2 all the season 1 noobs start to improve and they bring in a new set of characters to play the noobies (damn you phone stop auto correcting that to boobies! X3) it makes it feel like there's actual progression going on which is good for a show like this.

That's my intention at least. Might drop a tiny bit in speed given that I'll have an influx of ongoing animes to watch once again but season 2 will be started as soon as season 1 is complete
