Don't know the original material that well at all but with comedy being such a big thing it really will be one very silly ride!

With season 1 of Gits completed I'll start with the second season tomorrow. 

When GitS is at its best it's really, really good and it did realise that towards the last 20% of the season and spent all it had on where it does so much right and tied so much into the laughing man case. It's really a shame that it actually got a few episodes that are standalone and doesn't contribute that much. While they are not bad or so the comparison to when GitS really is good become massive and it's making it almost a bit tiresome once it becomes clear that an episode will be standalone and not laughing man case related. Luckily the season did have some rather good standalone too so it's not like all of them felt a bit dull. If anything I could always focus on just getting the chance to spend time with characters like Batou, Motoko and the rest of section 9.

 

 

Chihayafuru season 2 is even better than season 1 now when it can 100% focus on all the things that made the first season so amazing and spend a little less time on things that were needed but also never did stand a chance to the strongest point of the show. 

The last two episodes focused quite a lot on Mashima which was very appreciated since the guy really often get so much unfortunate stuff in the way and tonight I got to see Mashima develop further and to hear Dr. Harada's internal thoughts about Mashima and how good he actually is

I've gone to a number of them before. It's pretty much all SnK, Naruto and Bleach merchandise nowadays tbh. I was rather disappointed this year with the one in our city. The art section was great though!

Oh. And the cosplay.. The cosplay was fantastic.

I certainly feel old, but the sad truth is those anime created a sense of quality in me that very few anime can satisfy, spoiling me good and crippling the potential numbers of anime I can thoroughly enjoy.

 

 

And One Piece is not something I enjoy. Too repetitive and always trying to slap some pre-teen morals into my face. Seeng an whole episode about the power of friendship, truth and doing good got real annoying real fast. I think I only ever got to the end of the Alabasta arc, seen some isolated sky oceon or whatever it was called arc episodes and then quickly stashed the anime under my "meh" category.

Been going to Otakon for the last 6 years.

 

Because it's a tiny bus and train ride away from where my home is.

 

I have seen things there like movies and strange people. Otakon also took my money and gave me plushies and sexy anime figures.

 

Also met some voice actors and got their autographs.

I was vaguely wondering if anyone was going to AX. I haven't had many reasons not to go since I'm often in the same city as the event. Yeah the cosplay is interesting, I spent a whole Saturday just watching these once. Ugh that music though...
