I read the manga a while back. Twas OK, has a bit of a rep for the violence but I guess no worse then half the other anime's I've seen.

Did the anime have the giant penis arm? Or are they not there yet?

 

I recall the giant penis arm being pretty close to the start of the manga.

Haha I like how they gave the characters a more "modern anime" style.

I disagree. She was super obsessive towards the beginning of the show and even at the halfway point, but that changed towards the end, especially in the last episode

She let go of Banri because she was afraid of hurting him, she thought she was causing him pain. In the last episode she realized that she was wrong and so attempted to fix it, but she did so with subtle hints (the mirror and the bridge), she didn't force it on Banri. The old Koko would have latched on and made a scene when Banri opened the door to her and thought that she was Oka-chan, but this time she was calm and collected, she went to the bridge and hoped that he would remember.

I felt that everyone grew in one way or another, but in Koko's case I feel that she grew in multiple ways.

The old Koko would have latched on to Banri out of pure selfishness, and she let him go at the end for the same reasons. Oh she knows Banri eats meds, she knows he's incredibly afraid of losing his current memories, she comes to him and consoles him with words like "don't worry, I'll make it all better". Then when Banri actually does forget things for a moment, when Koko just can't ignore the condition and hope it goes away? Bawl and bail! She's afraid of getting hurt, that's all it was! She "steps out of the car" like she does in her nightmare! Even Linda managed better at being supportive at the risk that her efforts would be fruitless

She was just all over the place, I feel.

It just started. I guess they got a late time slot cuz it's not censored, so that's nice.

Violence nah, it looks like just a silly slice of life about uninvited arm parasite-Senketsu.

I just remember the CR forums brought it up quite a bit when talking about the most violent series in anime. That said I agree, it has some 0_o moments but it's not THAT bad.

Funny you mention the arm being like Senketsu.. That's actually a very appropriate comparison
