GitS season 2 start of with two quite interesting episodes that both very clearly make it feel like the season will be about something massive!
Chihayafuru season 2 is just stupidly amazing and I got almost 20 episodes left to watch. Isichar you sure were not kidding when you said it made the Karuta matches even better. The Highschool regional final was just so unbelievably tense and exciting.

2nd GIG will be right up your alley if you like it massive. It will also delve into the background of some characters (sadly some still go underdeveloped), which you might also like. And it also comes with less stand-alone episodes, so it stays focused on the massive more consistently.

You can probably see why I was able to binge nearly the entire season in 1 night
except then I got all sad because I had no more left to watch.Why can't I have my cake and eat it at the same time damnit?
The entire season is like that BTW so you got a lot to look forward to.

Glad to hear you're enjoying Parasyte, Puddi! I haven't started it yet but it completely blew my mind to find out that after all these years, they're finally doing an anime for it. A little bit of reference: Aside from starting on Sailor Moon when it was shown on Fox in the mornings, my start with the manga of it and Parasyte were in Mixxzine. Now I feel old again. 
I actually don't know if the full manga was ever published over here so maybe I'll take a look around for nostalgia's sake before looking into it. :3
Someone I know still hasn't started Psycho Pass like she said she would, but shhhh... >_______>

Still easily the best track from the Jormungand OST, only emphasized by the fact that all the HQ version get deleted by those jealous CIA losers who're sore loser that their theme isn't the only great track.

Welp, reading Dorohedoro chapter 128 just made me a bit depressed, so I gotta cheer myself up by remembering the good times of my (2nd) OTP, Noi and Shin. When they kicked ass and took names as magic mobster hitmen
And yes, that woman's mad beefy. Noi is still cute though, reminds me of Kashima in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun in how much she wants senpaaaai~'s attention

It is.
Simply because of the Stand Alone episodes being far less than the first.
Whether the LM case is more fascinating than Goda's puppeteering...
That's up for debate.
See, I'm more into 2nd GiG's politics than the Corporate politics of the first season.
But I do find the LM a better character than Goda because his SAC was never forced onto people. It simply evolved and his decision to return to the scene was very admirable.
But 2nd GiG is at least consistent all the way through. The first season drags on a little for its Stand Alones.

I've yet to see Psycho Pass aswell and as my amazing and clearly flawless without a doubt excuse I'll say.. so many shows.. so little time! It's absolutely a show I do want to watch.. at some point

Nah. Cowboy Bebop worked well with what it did since it focused on its characters. The whole thing revolved around its characters. It's not the same with GitS. The LM case > Stand Alones (well most of them) but they were far too spread apart. The best part of season one was the last parts where the LM case got all the attention.
However.
I'm not saying that Season One WASN'T awesomesauce. I f*cking love season one, I adore it.
But 2nd GiG, for me, is still a lot better for its consistency. Even when there are 'stand alone's' most of them are connected to the bigger picture.

This is of course secondhand news and Puddi can probably clear it up as he's watching the recuts but from what I read, stuff from episode 4 (so I'm guessing in episode 2 of the new edits) was edited out of at least the streams because they were to similar to a murder that happened recently. That leaves me torn between just sticking to the recut or also watch episode 4 of the original run so everything is clear. @_@

Years ago they edited a knife stab scene from a One Piece episode because of some knife murder.
And lol only now the uncut version of episode was put online.
Japan and their knife, saw and axe murders.

Huh. Since I only watched the recut, I can't really say what I didn't see from the original cut, you know?
But yeah, the version I watched was great anyway. Like I said, to me it's like a third season of GitS, it's that good.
I'm a little curious about season 2 since Urobuchi isn't attached to it? I'm not sure, doesn't look like it. It's also a different production studio.

I might be mistaken but I was talking to a friend about the cut episodes and I think he said they may still be included, they just didn't air on TV in Japan. I'd have to check to make sure though.
