Just finished Episode One of Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis. The animation was brilliant, the music was pretty solid, and the characters pretty cool. Very excited for episode 2.

Anyway, finished my SAC-athon. Solid State Society worked well as a very good Stand Alone Episode in the SAC series, involving Corporate Crimes yet again but this time, delving a lot more in the Stand Alone Complex and the complexities of conciousness. Convoluted philosophical BS aside what it really does it wrap up Motoko's "stage' and though leaves it open for the next phase, you're left pretty content in what it does. Either she stays, or leaves. It's up to you to decide.

 

That might sound like a weak send-off, and it would be, but the way SAC sets it up and goes with it makes it a whole lot better.

 

Plus we get Batou doing awesome Batou stuff.

 

So yeah, final verdict on this? Alone, the series holds its weight, but the best way to fully appreciate the SAC series is to watch them ALL *cough* CHEWIN *cough* in one go :D

 

This is why the SAC series is now 4th in my top anime list. The only reason Gintama is 3 is because 265 episodes to share with that amazing cast stomps on all the beauty that is SAC's take on social, metaphysical and political  philosophy.

 

LOTGH beats them all tho'

Reuploading to tinypic or something else is always a safe bet... you can upload gifs there too, even though their extension is changed to jpg they still load properly.

 

Though I never had an issue linking a gif from tumblr.

Nope I can't find any sites hosting that image that do any redirection tricky business, I have no idea where you found it unless you do have some kind of virus redirecting your **** by other means.
