Log Horizon deliver another decent episode and things really just move along at a rather relaxed pace. Though it looks like the next episode might bring some action!

So new episode of log horizon is decent. While the pacing is a bit slower than I would like it's still enjoyable.

In Katanagatari, the line actually makes sense

The protagonist is bit of a sociopath and he's willing to kill anyone at the drop of a hat because "he's a sword". He's only ever interacted properly with 2 people on an island for most of his life. He doesn't quite get the gravity of killing someone

Before going into DTB, I need to know what I'm looking at. Since it's an unknown I don't want to make the same mistake I made whilst watching Paranoia Agent and expect something I'm not going to get. Also, do I need my attention span to be at 110% like you would for GitS?

 

Glad you decided to role DTB, you won't regret it.

 

Generally-speaking, the story requires attention but not hyper-attention Each storyline begins with a two episode "arc" and after a while they all come together to form the central storyline. 

 

It's not the kind of thing where if you miss a minor detail that you won't understand what's going on. It's more that the "magic" which exists in DTB's universe can itself be confusing/mind-screwing, both to the viewer and the characters experiencing it. It all has an overall purpose though, so stick with it.

Quite a shame that Fate/Stay Night was delayed by a couple of hours. Means I'll at very earliest will be able to watch it tomorrow after work if even that. Ah well, instead I'll have more Chihayafuru which will always be an amazing thing! About halfway through the second season now and it's very cool to see how Chihaya has changed so much in her Karuta and in the last episode I watched the viewer got to see her adding what she learned from Oe and take cards that her speed or hearing never would've let her.
