Well count me impressed! This episode was a great one and really utilized everything that defines the show. It had its fair share of humor, harem, action, politics, military strategy and it portrayed them quite well. While of course the political and military aspects are single-faceted and simplistic, it is still entertaining on a superficial level in how the show manages to take into consideration factions and individuals and putting them into play. While personally I do get interested in wanting more out of said aspects, the show primarily relies on the cast of Night Raid (and to some extent Jaegar) duking it out on a personal level with whatever problems they are facing, it still without a doubt entertaining and the show knows how to handle it quite nicely.
Next week will be interesting. I would be lying if I wasn't on the edge of my seat in what the outcome of the battle will turn out.
