What is it with LOGH and its obession over tea? Well it matters little, 'cause I like it!
However, truth be told, I have been quite conflicted on the show as of late. It features some astute aspects, but sadly also harbors qualities which have made me shake my head in disbelief. Don't want to judge it to soon since I am still on the early episodes, but so far this show hasn't been off for a good start.
26 episodes of LOTGH is like getting into Gintama with 12 episodes. Season one is the warmup, season 2 and 3 (as House said) is the main meal + dessert. Then you get the rest which is still great.

GIve it tiiiiimeee
Yeaaaah.
ETA: Because if I think what I think you think... think... well yeah, you know what I mean. If it is that, then I had the same reaction when watching the first few episodes of LOTGH.

mainly the stupidity of anyone outside the military
Halfway through the second season of GitS and so far no episode has felt like a waste and the last episode I watched might even be my favorite outside of the last 3-4 of the first season. All that focus on the boy and the girl and that plane crash. Really liked that episode
So you've passed 9, no?
What did you think of that awesome convo between Gouda and Motoko, bro?

The level of stupidity isn't excluded from the military either. So far the only competent ones have been Yang Wenli and Reinhard (and one or two minor characters), and giving them credit for their merits is hardly praiseworthy since they are both surrounded by incompetence and their maneuverings are usually the most logical option and quite obvious given their position, but due to the share amount of idiocy--especially by their superiors which I just have to question how the f*ck they rose to their position in the first place--makes their actions very hollow. No wonder the war has been going on for so long with idiots in position (which Wenli quite accurately points out).
Anyhow, I trust your judgement and will conclude the whole season before giving a more in depth impression on it.
This weeks Inou-Battle Nichijou kei-no naka de was not too bad and I can appreciate it being a decent watch with all the other high profile shows I've got going lately. The entire episode was about an amusing missunderstanding.
Ufotable certainly delivers yet another strong episode, and one that works really well with Episode 00. Both episodes are different but very similar, when one was focused on Rin's perspective and this one on Shirou. I really enjoyed it and it gave both of them proper characterization and screen time. While I initially had the feeling this show would focus entirely on Rin Tohsaka, I know get the feeling it will be split between both Rin and Emiya, which I very much enjoy.
And speaking of Emiya Shirou....
Oh my...
Ufotable sure can deliver lol. Well joking aside I do like how Shirou has been represented thus far and I know him a lot more than what Deen did with him. Having Kiritsugu directly in the episode certainly helped as well.
And of course there was Saber!
The Return of the King, b*tches!
Anyway, looking forward to next episode!
I really enjoyed seeing Emiya in his assassin/black attire appraoching Shirou about living with him. It was a short (but sweet) reminder that Fate/Zero did happen and they are trying to build some continuity with it.
It's almost getting a bit insane just how well Chihayafuru play its cards! Everything really is going the best possible way! The result against Akashi first girls' High School was great but what I really do love is that both Nishida and Chihaya, the class A players had the help of Oe, Taichi and of course Desktomu! Chihaya did so many things right this game and just like Megumu I believe both of them at least took 2 steps in their development and even Shinobu might have a bit a game on her hands at some point! Until then she can disapprove of human lungs and recite all the cards in a row
There aren't many chapters of the manga. I'm afraid that if it gets a second season, it might be filled with filler. Or they could just wait a bunch of years. Whatever works best for them.
It's possible but considering that (if you have not read the manga who not read as this details upcoming battles and I don't want Rah and anyone else spoiled)
Spoiler
The anime is right now doing the big fight between Kurome and Bols vs Night Raid and after that you have the big ass arc at the town where the demon and Seryu battle was almost five chapters, that's also not taking into account the massive battle with Esdeath that happens later. My suspicion is the last episode will show the formation oft he wild hunt and the theater innocent to show these nutbags are complete assholes, then if there smart wait a year, that will give time for more content, of course the fear is still there but as long as the first season ends at the formation of the wild hunt, they will be good.

I'm laughing...
Because that' exactly how I felt during season one
Chewin. Like I said, right now it's basically a sort of critique stemming back into hour history where incompetents were the aristocracy (save for a few others of course.)
This is why I used the Lions and the Donkeys thing (which was a common saying in WW1.) You just wait, Chewin.
You're going to f*cking love this anime by the end.
Once all these douche-ass nobles are out of the way and the people with brains are pitting against each other, this anime becomes something completely different.
It punches holes in the democratic system, explaining why the current administration is so corrupt, whilst also counter arguing that it is the best system to live by...
ARRGGOOGGHHH (that's me holding good sh*t in btw.)
Then you have the BATTLES, Chewin.
There is one battle of note (well a bunch more others, but this is basically one where you DON'T know how it's going to end) that will have you by the edge of your f*cking d*ck, buddy. It will xD
House! Get yo' smelly white ass over here, back me up!

According to Geth, Akame ga Kill is pretty much a normal anime in Japan, meaning it's not such a huge hit over here as it is within our home away from home. So it's possible we might get a year, which will be great room for the manga to breath.
They also have Akame ga Zero or something, well, an origin story. So if there's a big demand we might get a few OVAs following that.
Elizabeth's healing magic reminded me that the Sins were weakened from the constant fighting. They're op even though Hendricksen looks like he's only warming up. Gowther has to be a homunculus as him being an android just doesn't mesh well with the world. Plus his telepathy makes him an invaluable support fighter and tactician of the group. Some may not like it but i'm glad that Hendricksen's stomping of the Sins was due to fatigue as the power inflation for this series would've been ridiculous.
So my slow and steady enjoyment of Gintama continues. In the last week I saw the infamous toilet episode. Not quite as good as the Nabe Shogun episode, which is my favorite episode to date, but enjoyable none the less.
Started watching World Trigger. That seems to be a pretty easy-going action old-school piece, with invading monsters from other dimensions and such. Not the new era darker and edgier 'the world has been destroyed and rendered post-apocalyptic but broadly recognizable,' but the old-time 'life continues as normal despite the kaiju of the week attacking but no one seems to get killed onscreen.'
Also starting to watch the new Gundam Build Fighters Try. The first build fighters was unabashedly and unpretentiously a toy commercial, and was all the more fun for having some good action fights despite the lack of any serious drama or threat. Try promises to be the much to same.
Also started season one of Log Horizon, since I missed it last time. Not sure what exactly to think of it, except as a lighter/happier take of .hack or SOA. I wonder when/if someone will do an obvious twist on the 'trapped in a MMO' deal- like if people are trapped in the MMO because it's a nuclear wasteland outside and humanity survives in stasis pods due to a lack of space in the bunkers. That seems like a suitably anime twist.

I do hope they do a one year wait, I know it's hard since people might get disinterested after a year long wait but really(normally though they go to the manga though), it's better then useless filler.

I'm also glad Elizabeth's magic isn't OP enough to resurrect anyone who's already dead. It's nice to set limits in a story like this so you don't have things getting too ridiculous. No Jesus of Konoha walking around in this manga.
Eren, ate his father in order to gain control over his form, and the ability to control other Titans?
Spoiler
I don't think Eren meant to do it on purpose, however since we know titans gain power from eating other titans, it's very possible that';s where he got the coordinate from. Grisha knew ALOT.
