On the upside, apparently all of the streaming sites are re-uploading using the chyuu subs, which are good. But that means I can't even find the bad subs with the TL notes anymore.

 

One of those TL notes said something like "We know 'baka' should mean idiot, but that sounded fake because of how mad she is, so we translated it as 'assh*le' instead."

 

Like, come on.

Past the anime, wherever it is currently. I've only watched 9 episodes. I didn't feel like having to eventually find out at what point in the manga does the anime stop so I've just been reading through the manga. Considering how often people seem to bite the dust, you might have a point.

Finally got around finish reading Franken Fran. It was for the most part quite entertaining and a good first manga to read. In FF I got to see some scenarios that I honestly can't say that I've encountered in any media before so it sure had some very diverse things happen.

It is quite natural to think that way. One needs to only look at history to see similar kinds of incidents and the ultimate consequences of it. And yes, plot points like these are a delicate issue and most tend to fall flat on their execution of whatever presentation they trie to convey with. 

 

Yes, I also hold Oberstein in high regard as well. Mittermeier would be a third for me, but the distance is lengthy comparing to Reinhard and Oberstein. Will be looking forward to more focus on the rest of the cast, and now with most of the idiots out of the way I can enjoy this series even more.
