I believe they added 8 or so episodes post episode 22 (at least that's what it appears from looking it up in da funimation app on the 360). I plan to watch the extended episodes soon.

No... like I said on the last page, they added a few minutes in between every two episodes, and bunched said two episodes together, giving 11 extended cut episodes vs the original 22 episodes. That's all it is.

I didn't think it was. I thought what they called the "extended" episodes was just the creators mushing individual episodes into two episode story arcs.

Hmm, since localized Pokemon, character and ability names are all entirely different, that must be weird to watch subbed. "Hey Takeshi Brock, what's Windie Arcanine doing?"

 

And calling jelly donuts rice balls? What the hell?

That will be a tough one to follow up with, the original run was pretty much one of the best anime I've seen. That's quite a thing to live up to and I'm a bit concerned they can't. But I'm more than willing to find out.

 

 

Also, rewatching GitS:SAC is yummy. The stand-alone episodes are pretty good and I just got to the part where it starts going into full gear ("Not Equal"). A neat side effect of me rewatching the series: it's the first time I'm watching it again since I got my A40s and I have to say, the action sequences sound deliciously beefy compared to before. Om nom nom!

GitS action is awesome.

 

 

Seeing sexy women kick ass is my pornography.

 

And lol. Shinbou is so op and cool, but this match with Ayase is where I actually was really interested in what was going on with the game. Yeah that match was awesome.

Yes watch a full episode subbed sometime Rica Matsumoto is great as Satoshi Ash but without rice balls jelly-filled donuts being called jelly-filled donuts it is worthless and strange.

 

It's an interesting watch for sure tho.

 

Like when Purin Jigglypuff draws on the faces of the main cast.

 

Interesting.
