I finished irregular at magic high school. It's got an interesting universe and a few strong side characters. I liked but the incest is wincest stuff really got on my nerves and the middle arc really dragged on.

 

Next Clannad but first some more Gintama.

Well I keep going gintama, other anime, gintama, other anime so that's why it's going to take so long. I'm probably going to watch a load of it after clannad though to alleviate the supposed pain.

I am kinda surprised no one goes "Wait, Arthur was a woman?" actually. People tend to be more interested about her sword, to which they all go "Oh sh*t she has the f*cking Excalibur!!"

It is basically only Gilgamesh who is interested and relieved that Arthur is a woman, which is to say his infatuation with her is creepy as hell.

 

Speaking of Excalibur, SAO2 has a story centering on the sword as well and the team is back to Aincrad. Cool, didn't particularly like the guns. Fans seem excited about the upcoming arc so hopefully it is good.

For a sequel my understanding is that they wanted to end TRS off in such a way where they could continue of they wanted to but so that they would also be satisfied if it ended there so it's really up in the air. I think the anime/TRS did well enough so that they could continue of they wanted to.

Personally I liked that it was short because it didn't feel like they wasted any time. Every scene plays a roll in the overall plot, which is incredibly rare I find. It certainly does leave you wanting more by the end though.. That's something I can understand X3

If you're craving more my suggestion would be to look for the spinoff works like The Different Story manga or even the PSP games.

Anyhow, watched few episodes of The Admiration of Oda Nobuna. It is cute and entertaining with some nice animations, but that's basically mostly what there is to it, so far at least. While it does take place in the Tokugawa period, it is mostly used simply as an underlying set piece without delving much further into it and its characters than what it needs. It has tons of fanservice in it, with lots of boobs, lolis and jokes revolving around it, so if one is into that more points to you.

 

Not exactly my type of show, but I find it entertaining enough to watch the rest of it.

Truth be told, were I in Gilgamesh's shoes I would as well on a constant basis be all like "Bring me dat ass!" when it comes to Saber.

 

Anyhow, watched few episodes of The Admiration of Oda Nobuna. It is cute and entertaining with some nice animations, but that's basically mostly what there is to it, so far at least. At least the show is upfront that it's fanservice heavy. That aside it's a fun watch and not much else with a few good character moments. Kinda happy I did watch it as super early as I did and not now when my expectations and interests are somewhat different

Yeah, feel the same way. What PMMM did was great, and I want it to remain an untouched gem, so to speak, but still dying for more.
