That's really why I'm not going to watch the dub. It just wont be anywhere near as good with me as the sub and while the voices in most cases are solid and such they are just going to be "off" with me.

Oh she genuinly do believe she help people. She's just.. not that good at understanding that what she does have consequences or that it might be a bad idea to do "some" of the things she does. It's really her best quality!

The anime is not complete no.

And yeah.. You may recall me saying a couple times if I was to ever "switch teams" for a character it would be Taichi. It's actually a bit scary when you consider how much he's dedicated himself to Chihaya considering she *tends* to forget about him at the drop of a hat whenever Arata is mentioned, which to be fair is more because of her being such a airhead rather then being intentional. I like how you get to see his flaws early on and much of the anime focus on him is watching him grow and develop into a pretty decent guy.

I can't wait to see him grow more. Like I said before, he's my favourite character in the show so far. The others are growing on me to.

And yeah, Chihaya is also an airhead. But it doesn't bother me much really. I like her loads, and it's not because she's a total f*cking hotty but she has traits that I really enjoy in a person. It just annoys me how she doesn't really see Taichi in that way. Or maybe she does, but is too focused on Karuta to actually show it. Remember episode one where she saw him with that girl? xD

I don't think she's ever really thought or romance much, her love is for the game of Karuta itself which is a neat quality. The problem is it makes her completely oblivious to some of the issues her fellow members deal with. She is a very kind hearted person but she's not naturally sensitive to others emotions which causes issues. Despite being the best player on her team she would not make a very good team leader.

As silly as it sounds I'd be more prone to root for Arata/Taichi because I like their dynamic a lot.

The best players are rarely if ever the best leaders, absolutely love that the show is aware of this and that Chihaya is so obviously not meant to lead more as she's meant to push and inspire.

Okay, Chewin. Speaking of reforms I had no idea they were taking from Cao Cao. I've heard a lot about how awesome he is, and for me to be interested in politics and NOT look into him (or the Three Kingdoms era) is a sin.
 
But once I approach the Three Kingdoms series I might learn a thing or two about it.
 
If I get hooked.
 
I'll become an expert in 2 months.

Cao Cao is one of my favorite historical figures, for a lot of reasons. I can PM you why but I would rather have you experience the brilliant show first (which can be viewed on YouTube) and / or possibly read up on him in more detail.

And politics is so vast and different, so no need to feel bad not being knowledgable about him or a specific person in general. I have several figures myself who I should read more upon who have played major roles on the specific political aspect(s) they tackled, and who I consider to be "must reads" to have a broader scope when it comes to politics. Always being willing to learn more is what counts

I did it, I finished Darker than Black. I both liked and hated the second season, more like than hate, but there was quite a bit that just didn't sit right with me. I'm just going to number my problems with it in the spoiler tags.

1. My biggest problem is the white haired boy of prophecy that appears at the end of the final episode, why? Why do that? Ending on that big of a cliffhanger is a risky and shitty thing to do, simply because it necessitates another season, but if that season doesn't happen then fans are left with a ginormous lack of resolution.    

 

2. The anti-tank rifle power. I just found this one to not mesh with any of the other powers we have been shown on the show. All of the other powers that I can recall off of the top of my head were elemental in a sense and could be used in multiple ways, but with the rifle, all it could do was shoot. I also got tired of them recycling the animation where she pulls it out of her, which was stupid considering that the rifle was taller than she was. 

 

3. Yin's fate is a mystery and the relationship between her and Hei had no sense of resolution or pay off. I'm guessing that Hei didn't kill her, but guessing is all that I can really do based upon what was shown. Because we didn't get to see Hei make a choice, we didn't get to see how conflicted he was about it. To some sort of emotional conflict would have been a bit of a pay off because of the two's history.

 

4. Hei not wearing his mask also bummed me out. I guess that he doesn't have any family or anyone to protect, but still, him having his face out there makes things more difficult.

This season made me like Mao again, I was angry when he ran off inside of Hell's Gate at the end of Season 1. This season made me like July, who I just flat out didn't care for in season 1. They knew to leave dead characters dead, I was afraid we might see Haung or November 11, thus ruining their sacrifices. I liked Hei being a bit washed up and a drunk, I also thought it was cool how he could still effectively fight without his powers (although I did miss them). I found Suo to be a likable character.

As far as the ending goes, I think I understood it fairly well. 

 

Since Season 3 seems unlikely at this point, they should make a movie to wrap things up. We have a couple of dangling plot points that could be answered/resolved and left with a satisfying ending in an hour in a half or two.

Sept Sasuke. Listening to him explain his logic for his last choice just made me facepalm. Otherwise I agree.

Yeah I don't even remember how many times Sasuke's gone full retard to justify his actions. It's been multiple occasions in Shippuden alone. Probably multiple times in Naruto too.

 

I counted three such occasions in pre-time-skip Naruto. Once when going up against Itachi for the first time, then when he went rogue and finally when he and Naruto fought thereafter.
