21 weeks actually! It's a 25 episode long season. So much to look forward to and hopefully it will pick up a bit of speed and grab some of the stuff it did right last season!

2. Ah maybe you're right and I'm probably just overthinking this/ taking it too seriously. It has been at least a while since I read UBW and it's been ages since I saw DEEN's version but I remember DEEN's Fate route downright skipping stuff or adding things that didn't make sense.

 

In any case I can't wait to watch the next Fate StayNight episode. The first three episodes have been great although I wish they didn't have the moe Rin scenes.

I haven't myself played the VN, but I can understand your thinking and other fans who've experienced it. Though from most people I've seen they tend to be clouded in their judgement concerning Deen's version and how it is a plague that should be avoided. Understandable opinion perhaps, but a tad bit exaggerated I've found.

 

And yes, excited as well for next episode. Hah, true. I hope they minimize (or remove) similar scenes in the future. One or two is fun, but not excessive amount IMHO.

Started watching Sakurasou no Pet, since it was mentioned several threads ago and I am enjoying it so far. Really digging the female girls (I am bad with names) and her gloomy and irresposible attitude. Not digging the main character though, I hate characters like him. But I tend to warm up to most protagonists in anime (except Shinji, f*ck that guy!).

A personal quibble of mine is Feynris and Mayouri and their catch phrases. The former is a walking nyan nyan cat and the latter is a train. So annoying! It was cute at first but the constant uses of it makes me want to throw them both under a train!

Ah yes! Sakurasou, lovely show and I totally do agree that Sorata is a pain at the beginning. He grow a decent amount and at the end I almost liked him!

The "female girls"    are all kinda solid and I found myself liking Misaki and her unnatural amount of positive energy rather wonderful. That and I'm 75% certain she's an alien!

Maybe it's exeggerated but when you animate one route from a VN you should never try to combine elements from diffirent routes. The only anime that succeeded in doing something like that was (I have yet to watch it myself) is Clannad. I mean there were some scenes that were actually done well and the soundtrack was also well done. 

 

F/SN ep. 3 is subbed so I'll watch that first.

I actually dropped this show because of the MC. I'll probably end up picking it back up but I remember getting sick of the guy. And it's not that I can't stand a MC like that because I watched Evangalion but there was something about this guy I couldn't stand.

Well yes, F/SN 2006 is an amalgamation done poorly, but not to the extent many fans seem to think. But I can understand their concern.

 

Should watch this Clannad everyone seems to praise about. In to the list it goes!

That was a fantastic episode. I also really like how Ufotable is handling the episodes content wise. And the way Saber reacts to stuff from Fate/Zero is also a nice addition.
