To be honest.
You hit it right on the head there, House.
Though LOTGH is my favourite anime, it's really just above FMAB, not that far ahead.
But yeah. Ever since ASOIAF back when I finished the books like two years ago I hadn't found something I loved as much as LOTR until I watched FMAB. Hell, even the spirit of the story mimics LOTR in a way.
The main protagonist isn't f*cking Jesus, and doesn't win the day. Hell everybody needs to do their part. Mustang, Riza, Ling, Armstrong etc... and every part is vital to that end.
And sh*t...
Hohenheim. Man, do you NEED any reason more to f*cking love the anime other than him?

Exactly. Himoru really knew what she was doing when she drew/wrote the climax of FMA.
And like I said. It's ironic that it mimics LOTR because she hasn't even read/watched LOTR xD
But you don't need to read/watch LOTR to have good story-sense. But it helps 
So yeah, the Promise Day was the sh*t.

I loved how they all came together to kick ass at the end. Everyone has their moment! One of my favorites was Izumi teaming up with Olivier. Those two women absolutely wreck sh*t.

That last episode of Chaika reminded me what I like the least about Chaika: Toru is pretty f*ing dumb. Certainly he's far from the worst anime protagonist, but yeah. Dumb.

What don't you like about it (I've cleared it to episode 5, so spoilers to that point are fair game)? Does it get bad? I find the time skips between episodes to be annoying, but other than that I am having a good time with it.
