Ah you're still at the good point. Stop when you've finished episode 14. Go no further. After that there be tentacle rape and all kinds of abominations.
They started doing a light version of that where plants kept grabbing a girl character, Silica, but nothing ever came of it, I thought that it might have just been in there for the point of trying to satirize tentacle/plant rape.
Disappointing news though, I was hoping that the show might have a good twist and deep pay off along the lines of the bad guy not being bad and it being arguable as to whether or not he was just misguided. I was expecting something to where everyone that "dies" in game is actually getting booted and locked out of the game. The game was just some sort of experiment that is meant to teach its players to value what they had in the real world, while also helping them to make friends for when they get out.

Eh kinda the first arc gets a decent ending but not particularly mind blowing. After that horrors, horrors as far as the eye can see.

I intend to see how everything plays out, I just hope that I am better or no worse off for it ![]()

The Alfheim arc certainly feels like it only wanted to cash in on the original arcs success to some point and didn't come with any original ideas on its own, but it's still not bad, just not as good as the Aincrad arc.
And SAO II is pretty good in my opinion. Still not on the same level as Aincrad, but it has its own ideas/avenues to go through and the action is neat. What I am most looking forward though is the Underworld arc, though that will take some time until we get there.

Those new NnT subs
I can watch it now.
I'm laughing at some people actually being upset that the translator notes (and the dumb translations that came along with them) are gone.

Oh I heard about that. I'll probably wait until all the proper translations for the show are out before watching.

I thought about trying Planetes because it was the same guy that did Geass. I'm not sure about the subject matter though, maybe on the boring side. I'm guessing most people haven't seen it...

Glad to see you enjoy it Vroom! You're in my opinion the best part of SAO so very curious to see how your thoughts go as you progress towards the finish line. If you're able to at the end say that you fully enjoyed all of it, kudos to you! ![]()
It's going to be fun watching Cowboy Bebop, it start of with 2 episodes that has already been quite entertaining and I got to meet the dog!

So Clannad after story. I am right at the edge of where it's going to get sad and know what's going to happen and I dread it so much.

Well I have to go somewhere today so i'll have to watch it when I get back. Having a mental breakdown before going out would be a bad idea.

Armstrong vs Armstrong.
Probably some of the funniest sh*t I've seen.
The fight in the house?
I personally didn't like it. How can possibly the Perfect Man-specimen and majestic alchemist LOOSE to someone who doesn't share either his imposing physique OR has alchemy?
Because laughs?

Pretty much.
Could be argued he didn't go full blast on her because he still loves her like a sibling.
But whatever.
It was hilariously glorious.
NO!

Because there is more to winning a fight then being bigger and stronger. Watch some Bruce Lee movies or something.

Been a while but I rather liked it. Sure it's a bit slower paced but I didn't find it boring.

Thank god somebody else is going to watch Planetes.
It's one of the better slice of life anime out there.

Yup.
But try telling anybody who hasn't done contact sports.
It's hard.
