An older Superhero getting forced by his sponsors to work with the new hotshot hero with the same superpower as him.
The main characters are all on a show where their heroing antics are given points and at the end of the season they're given the title of the King of Heroes.
It's a fun show with alot of great humor, characters, and action.

Eh I admit I do want to check this out.. I need to get my viewing habits a bit more on track though. It's just tough since this time of year is so busy with work and other things.

Once I do get watching again I want to finish Princess Tutu. Plus I really should get started on the OP manga too like I said I'd do ages ago.. I might just start reading bits here and there when I have a free moment at work lol

I couldn't actually get into or stand Gundam Reconguista in G. I'm really hoping that it gets more serious, especially considering that it goes with the U.C. timeline series. Gundam Build Fighters Try is a whole lot better at the moment. 

 

No wonder Gundam is top 1. Japan is crazy for that. Not my thing.

I can totally get the busy with work part.. won't be a calm day for me until November 26th! But by then I should have a billion anime shows to watch and perhaps a couple of million mangas to read.

 

Maybe some re-watching of certain shows too!

Watch it more like it is Tomino's Overman King Gainer.

 

 

Kill 'Em All Tomino's lightheartedness is much better after watching King Gainer.

 

Reconguista in G is also answering life long mecha questions.

Oh it's just the best show I've ever watched with my favorite character in any show so far and with the best soundtrack so far in addition to some brilliant writing and art work!

My friend really enjoyed Build Fighters a lot. Was considering adding it to the list.

I would say that those that have seen a lot of the different Gundam series would enjoy it more than those that haven't. It gives a lot of nods and contains a lot of easter eggs/hidden references to the older shows. I enjoyed seeing classic mobile suits all supped up. That said, I'd say go for it, but you might consider watching some of the other Gundam series first, if you haven't. 

 

Actually, are you a Gundam fan? I ask because your username reminds me of Char Aznable every time I see it, I didn't know if that was what you were going for or not, but now seems like as good a time as any to ask.
