Tell me about it. Had to work 11.5 hours nightshift going from saturday night to sunday morning and despite me practically falling over dead for now two days straight I can't sleep more then three hours each night. I'm soo close to asking a friend of mine to punch me out cold just to get some sleep. Stupid daylight saving nonsense, each time switch messes up my biological clock.

I've been in this position. Long night shifts plus no more then 2-3 hours of sleep at any given time.. All I can say is take care of yourself and don't do that for long if you can help it. I did it for 6 months and it (especially the lack of sleep) really started getting to me and effecting me in a bad way so I had to stop. Even now I rarely get more then 4-5 hours of sleep a night other then on the weekends but it's honestly still 100x better then when I was only getting 2-3 on night shifts..

Just take care of yourself and listen to your body if you hit your limit OK?

I've already gotten past that threshold. Had quite the case of burn-out last year because of the stress of working+studying. Wasn't funny and am not looking to direct a sequel. This particular case of getting no sleep is just the usual hissyfit my body throws each time they switch the clock and should be over soon™. Wish those politicians would just wise up and listen to what docters and economics been telling them for decades and end this nonsensical summer/winter time BS. It servers absolutely no purpose, that's even scientifically proven. Uniform time, uniform biological clock, uniform sleep cycle, no insomnia. It could be so easy.
