I'm thinking it might have been super sekret, and something only D managed to see. That's pretty huge and I haven't heard anything about it in the Kaidan community anywhere.

Yeah, if it's online somewhere, please post the link.  I know that journalists have been playing ME3, and it's possible that someone somewhere has played FemShep with Kaidan as VS.

 I know that journalists have played with Kaidan on the squad, but there hasn't been any screenshots/video of him from those articles. Understandably so.

I really enjoyed that video, maybe because Prinze is quite charismatic (I didn't expect that..), really looking forwards to getting my hands on the making of now!! 

And.. Can we have some Kaidan please?

I am a huge fan of Kaidan. However, what a lot of you fail to remember is that Kaidan was in the *first* promotional image for Mass Effect 3: the image of Shepard, Liara and Kaidan all in an epic pose. We have even heard a snippet of his voice in one video ("What *is* it about this mission?"). Remember how happy we all were when he got a front-and-center position in that first picture? I considered it a minor miracle that BioWare even deigned to acknowledge his existence in promotional material, much less the first bunch that we received.

Do you remember how we all said, "If we only got a picture/sound clip of Kaidan, I could die happy?" Well, we got it. Now we're asking for more? No. Us Kaidan fans have already received more content than other characters have (Miranda, Jacob, Jack, Samara, etc.) and will most likely be receiving even more when the demo is released in a few weeks. We just need to be patient.

Imagine how tough it is for the Jacob fans to wait for anything. Or Jack fans. Or Zaeed. I know waiting is agonizing, but we just need to keep things in perspective: we are luckier than most fans of other characters in that we will most likely be getting to see a lot of Kaidan in the demo on February 14th. Let's just all keep calm and bask in our Kaidan love.

No, BW has heard our cries, and has said, "No." They show no willingness to budge, either....so far. But why?

They've prostituted the heck outta Liara. And I like Liara, but damn.

If we actually get a FemShep...trailer thing and there is no Kaidan, I will be writing quite a few pointed and strongly worded emails to every Boss I can find...I'm just sayin'

We're keeping calm (I think), and I do see your point, but  we were forced to suffer an entire game with nothing much to give us VS lovers hope. Liara fans got LotSB, while we got.....nothing. If Raphael Sbarge wasn't so bloody fantastic, we would still be living off of scraps and ME1 memories.

Also, it seems to be that around here, the squeaky wheels get the grease. We are being polite, we're just squeaking....a little. There really isn't anything wrong with that.

(And I'm interested in all the other characters too, so no hate or disrespect to other fans implied.)

Standard Default for ME 2 Non-port from ME 1 (and no Genesis) is Shepard is Male, Sole Survivor and Renegade Soldier.  Using the Default Female is the same (Sole Survivor, Renegade Soldier).  Virmire Survivor (VS) is considered to be the opposite Gender of Shepard.

Therefore:

Male Shepards will always have Ashley Williams.

Female Shepards will always have Kaidan Alenko.

The only way this changes is either porting over a save from ME 1, or using Genesis.

Kaidan Alenko, Major in the Alliance Millitary and Spectre, will be in ME 3, assuming that he survived Virmire.  We do not see him in the trailers because Bioware has chosen to use only default Shepard.

Should a Female Shepard ("Femshep") trailer/footage be used, and used in the same manner, Major Alenko will be on the Normandy.
