Kaidan is in Mass Effect 3...if he didn't get microwaved on Virmire. Which for me is about 30% of my playthroughs. I've saved Ashley as both genders and saved Kaidan as both genders. I'd like to think of Kaidan as my Male Shepards bro.
And yeah whenever you see Ashley just picture Kaidan.
Also because the "canon" (using that loosely) shepard is a Male Soldier, saving Ashley is the unofficial 'canon' choice.
*sigh* There isn't a "canon" in the ME games, Casey Hudson says so himself. It's called default.
And poor Kaidan isn't the only illusive one, we haven't seen anything further of FemShep either. Possibly they are on a secret, behind-the-scenes mission together, while the other characters are hogging all the screneshots and vids.Liara, I'm looking at you.
It sure would be nice to see a little Kaidan though. Hell, I'd be over the moon with a five second video snippet of him in combat.
Please, BioWare?
That bolded part 120%. If I could of bolded that part 20 times in 5 different colors I would of.
There is no canon. Casey has said it many times. So to say it is canon to see Ashley in maleshep videos and Kaidan in femshep videos isn't a valid argument. It is a deafult setting but Bioware always gives the player the choice over who will live on Virmire and that is still the case. Therefore it is entirely possible to see Kaidan in a maleshep footage and vise versa.
