My money is on Kaidan getting: Overload, Warp, Throw, and Neural Shock. I'm basing this on the Sentinel Shepard's, Kaidan's ME1, and Miranda's ME2 Powers.

*nods nods* That sounds about right. Honestly, I have a hard time figthing comfortably without a Sentinel on my squad, like in Kasumi's LM and Arrival. I hope they don't do anymore missions with a pared down squad in ME3. :pinched:

Kasumi is awesome, though. She has Shadow Strike and flashbang.

She only has flashbang after her LM though. The most useful power in ME2 for me was warp, and secondarily, overload. Might be why Sentinel is my favorite class. ;)

There were no Sentinel characters in ME2.

Um, Miranda....remember her? :P

Uh, could you remind me of who that is again?:P

She's never referred to as such.

Wow no one has pull, throw or neural shock? I am really surprised about that. Against husks pull and throw worked wonders! Now I am really curious to see their powers!

Pull and throw became a little less useful at higher difficulties because they don't work through armor, barriers, or shields though. Warp and reave were definitely more useful. But I would be surprised if they're not in the game AT ALL because they were in the first two games. :/ And I loved neural shock in ME1.

Yeah I noticed that on my adept insanity play through but I would usually incinerate there armor (I would always bring someone with incinerate where there were husks) slap a singularity or biotic move on them and they would die in one shot. But I have to agree warp was definitely more useful and I loved reave to pieces.

But I agree I still think at least Shepard will be able to use some of those moves in ME3, if not I am expecting some new goodies to conpensate.:P

Technically speaking, she's Cerberus Officer (as class), no Sentinel.

Back to topic: Kaidan definitely was Sentinel, but Sentinel class changed too much between ME1 and 2 - it's not only about CC/debuff anymore, but also about protection through Tech Armor. So will he be as ME1 Sentinel and old self or as ME2 Sentinel with damage protection? What about shotgun shown on "screenshot"? Kaidan is probably the only character with unclear role in squad and we haven't seen him in action! That's not healthy for my squad planning!

She was the class replacement for Kaidan in ME2, and you get her near the beginning of the game, just like you do with Kai in ME1. The gamemakers know better than to leave us without a Sentinel for long.  :wizard:

EDIT: @mineralica Yes, but regardless of what she's called, she has Sentinel powers.

Oh god. The shotgun thing puzzled me. I would love to know if they just put in a shotgun for looks or if he gets to use it in game. :P

Kaidan with shotgun in game would be really cool

I *believe* that the ME3 Powers-Stats and Evolutions thread has the powers confirmed for Kaidan. The only one I remember seeing there that I don't see mentioned here is Reave. 99% sure that's a Kaidan confirmed power.

I  saw someone mention that on tumblr. If that's confirmed, I'm going to be so happy. Reave is incredibly useful.

If he will inherit a habit of ME2 shotgun users who are not Grunt (namely Jacob, Jack and Tali) - run straight at enemy lines and get killed in process - then no, it wouldn't. Actually this part of character build makes me worried most.

Reave makes no sense though, even on Shepard. Reave/Dominate should be AY Asari exclusive.

Pistol and SMG for Kaidan would be fine and imo fit the character.
An assault rifle is fine too.

I see where you're coming from, and it makes sense. I think they did it because Reave/Dominate are popular powers, and since we won't be likely to have AY squad mates in ME3, they gave it to players anyway.

IMO Reave / Dominate should be one power - turns targets against its allies, provides biotic barrier to target but drains it health. And this should belong to Morinth - I don't see Justicar vampiring people. But yes, seeing human - and very calm and paragonish human in case of Kaidan - performing Reave would be very special sort of WTF.

Good point.... I didn't really think about that in relation to his character.

But I'm still all for him getting good powers :P

Having Shep learn reave/dominate is gameplay/storyline segregation, but having biotics being able to develop the power is...retarded. Dominate should very much be AY exclusive, since it's simply what Morinth uses to control her partners applied to combat. Reave, whilst admittedly not as "logical" as dominate, is Samara (who, though not AY, likely isn't a normal asari) presumably "overloading" (read: mindraping) the enemies' nervous system. It's already an unlikely ability, but at the very loosest, only asari should be capable of this. Having a filthy hyoom learn it is just....wut.

*shrug* Whether it makes sense in the story or not, I won't be sorry if he actually has reave. I always chose it as my bonus power since it's so useful.

Ever since my non-biotic Shepard could 'equip' Singularity, I've had a hard time taking that particular issue seriously in regard to other squadmates.

And that's exactly why I'm not eager to see LI performing this.

Oh, and I see I'm the only crazy person which chooses bonus powers according to Shepard's class (Armor Piercing Ammo for Infiltrator, Stasis for Adept, Warp Ammo for Adept, Vanguard and sometimes Sentinel, Shield Drain for Sentinel, GSB for Engineer, Fortification / Inferno Grenade for Soldier)? Okay.

No, you're not. Flash Bang >Soldier, Slam > Vaguard, Neural Shock > Infiltrator, Stasis > Sentinel, AP Ammo > Engineer, Warp Ammo > Adept.
