It's not their property even if you do.

I am pretty sure it is illegal for the quarians to own property.

Geth ain't property. They are free, unliving, unbreathing machines.

The quarians aren't affiliated with either Cerberus or Legion.

And if they were prohibited from owning property, then explain the Migrant Fleet.

Even in the Migrant Fleet people have very few belongings, most things are public property.

Why do you trust Legion?  The Geth have killed billions of Quarians, purged them from their worlds, manipulate organics and kill anyone who comes near them regardless of their intentions.  If you're going to try and point to the writing on the wall for Cerberus, there's a library on the wall for the Geth.

Because Cerberus isn't a bunch of cool robots

/serious post.

More like because a part of Cerberus didn't come to Shepard talking about a schism in the group and asking him for  help so the other ones wouldn't mindrape all of them and saying their portion was peaceful and didn't want to deal with the crazies.

Also helps that the Quarians were going to kill all of them first.

As for manipulation...ORGANICS manipulate organics.

Question, do people honestly support what happened in Project Overlord? I if nothing else Legion shows it's utterly pointless because most Geth are as much as against the Reapers/Old Machines as the rest of the Galaxy.

@bold 1- The quarians were hostile to them first.

@bold 2-  They didn't purge them, the quarians fled. That's what happens in war.

@bold 3-  They're isolationists.  Those were also the heretics, not the Legion-affiliated geth.

Oh not this again. The Morning War is a very very morally complex issue, True Geth aren't the ones killing anyone who interudes, Heretic Geth are. And True Geth aren't manipulating organics, they are more or less performing acts of mild trolling to better understand organic life.

And you believed Legion?  The Geth did all of that prior to Reaper intervention; you can't claim every single thing done wrong on these supposed "Heretics".

I would've just "facepalmed" at that. You are a better person than I, taking the time to explain the flaws in mrsph's logic.

He gave my Shep no reason *not* to believe him. He ignores mulitple opportunities to attack Shepard (if that's his intention) and isn't remotely hostile and is rather truthful and blunt (nothing he says has been proven to be a lie). So yes my Shep's willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

TIM meanwhile lies to my Shepard FOR NO REASON! (we believe Liara Tsoni is working with the Shadow Broker! ...wut? Liara's openly trying to take down the SB AND YOU EVEN GIVE ME INTEL TO GIVE HER ABOUT IT!)

It was either the heretics or in self defense. Neither of which condemn them to me.

Let's put it this way:
There's a damned good reason why the Paragon interrupt involves caving a man's nose in with a pistol.

That by far was the greatest Interrupt in the game IMO.

Hugs. Throwing mercs out of windows. Volus tipping. Setting krogan on fire.

Well I trust Legion. To a point at least. And I am curious. TIM isn't much of a mystery to me. A oportunistic megalomaniac who will be your best friend as long as it serves his interest and your worst enemy if you cross them.

To the extent of genocide?  The vast, vast majority of the Quarians are dead, killed by cold, robotic hands.

But I'm sure you're right, every Quarian probably does deserve to die a horrible death for trying to follow the law set by the Council.

Isolationism does not give you a pass for horrible murder.

Not
really.  Quarians try to put down AI, which is illegal according to
Council Law, Geth decide that they don't want to deal with that, Geth
genocide Quarians and basically bring about ruin to the species.  The
True Geth do kill anyone who comes into their territory; you can't blame
every single thing on the Heretic Geth.  And their "act of mild
trolling" is manipulation; they're performing social experiments on organics.

Geth were not hostile from start. They became when they considered it necessary to defend themselves. Self defense is considered legal in most laws. Unless you think the person or being defending itself has no rights because it is not a person in the sense of the law. So either Geth are not people or they had every right to defend themselves.

The Illusive Man is not a meglomaniac. He is a visionary, he sees a place for all of the galaxies species in a human dominated galaxy.

1. As I already said, the quarians were hostile to them first. "Do I have a soul" "AHHH! Kill it with fire!"

2. You just said they broke the law, so you contradict yourself.

3. What part of "The heretics are the ones killing intruders", don't you understand?

All megalomaniacs are 'visionaries'. The question is what is this vision and what will it cost us.

So he's a megalomaniac?

He-

Gets indoctrinated
Tries to control the Reapers
Sends Shepard into the Collector Ship, knowing very well that it was a trap

*More points, but that's spoiler territory.

You say s/he's winning, in spite of almost 99% of everything s/he says is either false or blind zealotry.

Unless that was your point, in which case I apologize.

And what of it?

Is it not a sin to want to romance The Illusive Man or Kai Leng?

(Okay, I'm done.)
