Hi. I recently did a clean uninstall/reinstall of ME2 on my computer, and when I went to install Kasumi's dlc, I get an error telling me that my installer encounters an error, and suggests that I download a new copy. I've done so... 5 times, and each time I get the same error. All my other dlc',s (both downloaded before and after the reinstall) work fine. Can anyone help me out?

If you are performing the download across any system that includes a WiFi link, you need to do it the more basic way, with a hard-wired connection to the router.

Been awhile since I installed it but I think there was 2 issues with that download.
1. When released the file was corrupt on biowares servers. Check that the file size is correct (should be 991MB / (1,039,141,520 bytes)
2. Right click and use compatibility mode and use XP. Vista and Windows 7 had some issues with that installer they used and would return that error.

Okay... took me a long time, but thanks to your advice, I finally managed to get it installed. Thank you both

-for people who have the same problem: verify 991 file size, run in xp mode, run as administrator.

BuggedJune, You could try a manual install. I had to do this with The Blood Dragon armor for some reason. The exe file can be opened in 7-zip. Then I had to navigate through the archive (e.g. folder /[0]/$[101]/ -- just look for the large folders) And then you find something like DLC_PRE_DA.rar (that's the dragon age one, so kasumi's will be different).
Then, inside that rar file is a BioGame folder which matches the structure of your mass effect 2 BioGame folder. should then be as easy as extracting it there.
Next time you log into the cerberus network it will verify the DLC is authorized on your account and you can play without issues. I haven't tried this with other DLC, but I assume the process is the same.

Signo Vir, thank you!
For some reason, the Kasumi DLC installer kept installing Zaeed's DLC. The EXE's are in the same folder and I have no idea why it was doing this. I didn't really understand the significance of the folder names in the installation progress window...but after cracking open the EXE with 7-zip and extracting the DLC folder to my ME2 DLC directory...it worked correctly.
I was having a real headache with this for some reason.
