I'm tempted to say that my main game is VVVVVV, and I've enjoyed Capsized, And Yet It Moves, Jamestown and Osmos to bits, so I think I can say I adore Indie games.

And I recently stumbled upon this well-written review of VVVVVV: http://www.eurogamer...0-vvvvvv-review

The ending part is especially true, in my honest yet humble opinion:
"...Cavanagh's tribute to the past could teach its high-definition contemporaries a thing or two."

Also, I think Minecraft and Terraria to be interesting in their own, though haven't buried my time there myself...

Discuss!

Thank you.

Interesting thing is that I could have sworn it used to add those correctly by default, if I just copied the image.

I just found this game called Antichamber. There doesn't seem to be much info besides this video. It looks really interesting though, minus the annoying "look, I'm art!" music. Going to cautiously wait for this one.

Hard Reset. This game has AAA production values but it's the dev's first title and the engine was written by a handfull of programers. It's good for multiple playthroughs and they added a challenge map for free.  The game is down to $20 on D2D and there's a demo for it as well. The guys who made it are also anti-DRM. Also, the engine is a work of art. You can easily run this game on a mid range rig and it still looks stunning.

It's an aquired taste...it's mindless, so it makes a nice break from Skyrim, which is edge of my seat.

I picked up some great stuff during the Autumn and Holiday sales at Steam...

A pretty interesting simulation called Universe Sandbox which is fun if you like Space...it's strictly a Sim, though..no fighting Sapce Zombies Image IPB

Cthuhlu Saves the World is a wacky little game...great references hidden all over and a pretty funny, intentional 16bit look to it.

I have Limbo, but haven't started it yet...from the screenshots alone though I can tell it's going to be epic!

I want to try Cave Story, Magicka, Bastion, and more than a few others, but I had to put a stop to my spending spree on Steam! lol
