First of all, my apologies if this has been definitively answered elsewhwere. It's 1:20 in the morning and I've been dealing with computer issues all day.
In fact, I had to rebuild my computer today and reinstalled Dragon Age II. I then restored a backup of my documents, including the Bioware game saves -- which, as far as I can tell, are in the right directory path. The game isn't recognizing the game saves (i.e., Load Game is dimmed).
I tried copying/moving the Bioware folder to other possibilities, to no avail. Is there any way to force DA2 to follow a game save path? This really drives me nuts because the files are there; I just can't get DA2 to recognize them.
I'm using Windows 7 if that makes any difference. This has nothing to do with game play, just loading up saves.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
Game not recognizing old game saves

I left your question alone because I have never had the problem and have no help to offer directly. I hoped someone might stop by with more of an answer, but the forums are really quiet, except for ME-3. I'm certain I saw a good number of people with that problem at one time, but I either didn't read the answers, or have forgotten them.
