Considering that the figures promise exclusive DLC for characters that aren't even going to be in your squad (Miri, Mordin, Legion etc.), I wouldn't get too worked up over it.

true, but curiousity gets at me, and tali and legion are my fav so i just shelled out fot it, but do you think they will release it later on on the marketplace? thanks for your timez

Yeah there's another thread for this, you should check it out. Someone within that thread got in touch with someone from bigbadtoystore, or whom ever is carrying these things,and asked a few question. One of the resulting answers, and an article was posted as reference, that the content is MP only. Nothing stated if it was for that character, most likely. But I can't imagine a Figurine would with hold goods others wouldn't have access to. I would make a large wager that it's early access content for your MP player. No waiting to upgrade, enjoy the good stuff without the efforts, "a thanks for buying" kinda thing.
I really wouldn't worry. Someone will confirm this down the road, I'm sure and if I'm wrong and we are missing out, go grab yourself some cool toys. If I'm right, be glad you weren't stressing this whole time.

There's another thread about it where the guy emailed the company doing it. They wouldn't give details as to what it is, but they did say that it's for the multiplayer part and that the DLC for each one is unique.

yea i have a very hard time believing that a developer will invest dlc via toys instead of dlc for xbl or psn.


you have to remember your looking at maybe 25 bucks a figure plus shipping and with the way people are with money now man no one can afford it.

i am interested to hear how they are going to split the dlcs like sp and mp before or after the game is out

If this DLC preorder action figure crap is really significant gameplay, quests and combat maps, I have have to admit I'll be a bit upset.

DR. Pepper was ok, but having to buy action figures to get an old favorite npc's quest or whatever is bad news. I would probably say to hell with buying this game if it is parceled out via game figures, early pre-orders, day one DLC's and such other sleezy sales.

At this point, I hope that MP DLC is gonna simply be skins or different armors that are not OP, just simply offer different small buffs, a la some DS2 DLC stuff (Martial Law, Occupational Hazard and Supernova).

I don't mind if the action figures are totally cosmetic, but if they entail in game interaction with my favorite npcs that are not made available otherwise, then yeh I'm done with Bioware and Mass Effect.
