I have installed DAO, connected to the server, patched it, downloaded my free content.... but.... I can start a game using a dwarf warrior without any problems, but when I try to start using an elf mage it crashes in character creation????? 

now I have not tried any other character creation options yet since I just got the game, has anyone else had/seen this strange issue?  Can anyone offer any assistance in resolving it??
