Well... you could join us Germans in Anderfels. Being a devout, grim warrior living in a grim country being grim and devout all day long! Sounds like fun, doesn't it?
So... where is my cross pattée tabard and my horned helmet?
You also get to eat cheese, if Alistair is to be believed.
I would not have a problem with an Orlesian if it would be a combination between "Deutsche grundlichkeit" and "une petit peux raffine" from the french. Both countries have their great things.
But the cheese has to be Dutch of course.
We ('Lower Anderfels'?) and the Scandinavians ('North Anderfels'?) are probably already included in the Anderfels folk.
Centuries of trying to get rid of our German cousins' overlordship and still you end up 'heim ins Reich', even if it is just in Thedas:crying:
Well, I guess we will, at the very least, produce the finest cheeses in all of Anderfels.
Not sure about the horned helmets though, perhaps the Anderfels warriors will end up wearing pickelhauben.
What type of orlesians you want in Dragon Age III (Possible Spoilers)

I wouldn't mind playing as an Orlesian mage, or having such a Companion, in order to get a taste of what it's like to be a mage in
Thus far the picture we've been given of Orlesian nobility is not very attractive. I'd sooner play a commoner, if only to get a perspective of the lives of Orlesian peasantry, something we have yet to really hear much about.

I can't stand the accents so I'm hoping Orlais will just be the starting area and not where we're stuck for the entire game.
I kinda want an Orliesian Alienage elf. The accent could be toned down and we've never had a city elf for a companion.
I'm fairly sure that Zevran is considered a city elf. The same argument could possibly be made for Fenris.

The Dutch used to make fun of the Prussians too. North German dialects used to be very similar to the dialects of the eastern Dutch rural provinces.
So ordinary Prussians ('stomme Pruus'n') sounded like country bumpkins in Dutch ears.
Until Prussia morphed into Germany and they suddenly weren't so funny anymore
