If we're going to have an Orlesian companion, i'd rather he be a male who hates his motherland.
In DAO i absolutely loved Leliana but whenever she talked about Orlais i wanted to slap her (i could never

)
And although i hated some things Loghain did ( betraying the army,selling slaves) his stance was 100 % understandable.
Who would be so stupid as to call for soldiers who had conquered his country only 30 years ago?Just impossible for various reasons...
Of course there must be good Orlesians but as a whole they are cunning,arrogant,racist,imperialistic and hypocritical.
An example is how the use the Chantry to inspire fear and the way they abuse Andraste to restrict the mages,strengthen the templars and sway the people with propaganda against the Qunari and Tevinter.
I'm interested in how Bioware is going to implement Orlais and not make the accents tiresome.
Personally,i'd like a small portion of the game to take place in Orlais and even less of that to have anything to do with mages vs templars. The qunari thing in DA2 was way more interesting.
But if they're going to have it it would be good if it included something deeper like Tevinter assisting the mages and destabalizing Orlais or Qunari taking advantage of the situation.
Anyway the easiest thing Bioware can do is make us a qunari and make the whole plot revolve around "answering a question of the Arishok"...simple,laconic, straight to the point like Sten
