Yeah, becuase anything less than 9 means the game is rubbish, can't be the only one who thinks 7/10 is a good score.
Guess the Metacritic score.

I'd say it depends more on how full your wallet is.

I'm going with 95. Critic rating -- Metacritic user ratings are worthless.

From the critics, it would have to be eve higher or lower than ME2 so +90. For the users IDGAF because they are the most bias, ignorant trolls I ever seen on the internet. I mean you know someone is trolling when they give it a 1. Seriously...
Yeah. People basically rate something a 10 if they liked it, or a 0 if they have anything to complain about. Not much inbetween. Some reviews even say things like "I really like this but I think it's overrated so I gave it a zero". With the PC version I'm willing to bet no matter how good the game is, it's going to get lots of 0s because of Origin.

If the score is too low, the game's supporters will claim reviewers "just don't get it".
Wait, the same could be said about pretty much any game, really.

By the way, it will undoubtedly be in 9.5+ range.

70% is just barely a C. It's 6 points from failing utterly. 7/10 is horrible.darthgamer6621 wrote...

Most critics have such low standards these days, a game has to be at least a B+ to be worth playing, in most cases.

Agreed. ME2 got a 96 and a surprisingly high user review (by Metacritic standards), and yet reading BSN sometimes you might think its reception was as bad as DA2's. Sometimes it seems BSN is living its own little world cut off from the rest of the gaming world. We'd do well to remember that, and that we represent a miniscule proportion of the fanbase.
I don't agree on your second point though. Most trilogies tend to get slightly lower scores on their third entry, even if its of highest quality, simply because much of the "wow factor" may have worn off from reviewers. Gears of War 3, for example, got a 91 whereas the previous two games got a 94 and 95, and yet many GoW fans think its the best yet, and many reviewers agreed.

Also, I agree with someguy and even UC3 got less than UC2, which got higher than UC1.

Quite possibly so. Though, it will depend on when you look at the metacritic score, it will be artifically high with the early reviews and then maybe peter down to something more realistic as the "wowzers" wears off. But, I would argue that AC and ME franchises are very different beasts (for example, one recycles game mechanics a good bit more than the other.)
